the survivors must be one HELL of a talented acting group in
that case? they should be doing movies with brad pitt lol.
the entertainment value in survivor is derived from the genuine
and REAL actions of normal people. they are starving, freezing,
missing their families, participating in ''extreme" physical
challenges, worrying, trying to win a million dollars, etc.
on top of that, when you break down a survivor season, each
player gets under an hour worth of camera time, on average,
across an entire season (when you exclude challenges and
bullshit), while they spend weeks at the island.
entertainment/drama/emotions = inevitable in format like this.
the downside is that boring personalities equal a relatively
boring season, although still being somewhat entertaining :D

amir youre just assuming that off camera, they are attempting to
survive etc. WHAT IF I TOLD YOU... it could all be a LIE and
they have a SICK place to sleep and eat etc for the night. the
magic of ACTING, MAKE UP and CAMERAS.
REAL emotions? some of the drama is RETARDED to the point it HAS
to be set-up lol.

Question: who is filming all this **** right next to them? a
camera man and his crew. OH and paramedics, cant get TOO real
now.
An example: man vs. wild. read all the **** about it, how they
admit to it being fake. survivor is just a ****tier version of
man vs. wild.
I rather see bear grylls CATCH A deer "BEAR" handed and slit its
throat, then drink its blood. Than watch a hairy ass 40 year old
man compete with ****ty girls that should be acting in ****
instead of wasting their acting career on this pathetic show
called "survivor".

Spoofy brings good knowledge many of the "reality" shows are not
"reality" at all and are for 100% entertainment value and
capture the attention of weak minded people who think its
"ACTUALLY HAPPENING ZOMG", but yee believe what you want.
But I guess you have to believe in something amiright? Like come
on at the end of the day everyone knows Jesus Christ is
jackhammering Mickey Mouse in the doo-doo hole with a lawn dart
as Garth Brooks gives birth to something resembling a cheddar
cheese log with almonds on Santa Claus's tummy-tum.

Are you guys retarded?
Survivor has nothing to do with survival. Even IF they were
given food etc the social dynamics would be relatively
unchanged.
You really have to be absolutely braindead to watch survivor for
survival and the challenges lol, they are non-events designed
only to stimulate the social dynamics of the show.
What evidence do you have that any of the social dynamics in
survivor are fake? If you don't have any you've lost this
discussion.

you're just assuming the opposite... the difference is that you
have to explain to us:
1) why the acting of the random participants (who never get any
other acting part) is better than brad pitt.
2) why the make up is - and has been since year 2000 - better
than top budget movies (in particular the sick weight loss of
the participants who last long).
3) why there hasn't been any leaks from 'the inside' for over 15
years/why noone has ''busted'' the show in ANY way.
etc. there are so many questions you can't properly answer with
your assumption(questions that make your assumption seem bizarre
to the point of laughter), while with my assumption (which you
can call common sense) -> everything falls into place.

ofcourse they got medics out, why would they risk anything when
filming in such circumstances? and it just further solidifies MY
position that the survival-situation isn't staged when the
nearby supply of medical treatment is so necessary and excessive
(unless the entire crew of medics is a bunch of staged actors
aswell, rofl^^).
classic conspiracy theory mentality. there are good explenations
to why kids easily believe in stuff like this without a real
reason, but you gotta wake up boys ^^ smell the BACON!

They are in the wilderness there's no denying that. Ofc they
have medics why wouldn't they have medics when your on some
island with poisonous creatures/potential of fires etc. so this
doesn't prove your theory at all. Come on Amir stop being a
blind sheep following the pack. This shit could easily be
staged, but we will never know unless it slips out to the
public. Like the "Reality" show Storage wars had.

Beer, you're the one who brought the theory that survivor is
scripted. you said that it had to be scripted for entertainment
purposes. now you're saying that we don't know, but that only
blind sheep thinks survivor isn't scripted. you don't know where
you stand, and you haven't presented a proper argument for your
theory, much less ''proved'' it.
now that the obvious is out of the way, lets break down the
rest.
1) i showed that, if we assume that survivor isn't staged(amir
theory) -> entertainment is guaranteed. so it doesn't have to be
staged for entertainment. (your only argument is gone)
2) i showed that, if we assume that survivor IS
staged(beerspoofy theory) -> there are a bunch of following
questions which you can't answer without wearing big shoes and a
red nose.
3) and finally, i concluded that survivor is much more likely to
be authentic than being scripted.
what here is it you don't understand beer? you just look like a
COMPLETE maniac when you don't present any proper arguments,
ignore all the points made against your position, claim that we
don't know which position is right, and then flame people who
don't hold your position.
beer, i guess you believe the earth is flat man. i mean, you're
not a blind sheep like the rest of us. real theory = we gotta
ignore reason, and go with the minority position to avoid being
sheep lol. ~~b!!EE!!r~~ just remember to change beliefs if they
become mainstream :D

Theres no way to prove its not scripted unless you go on the
show yourself. I completely only read the first line of your
post as it would be a waste of time to read more kind of like

for the 7th time (maybe my english is bad? maybe you don't know
what certain words mean? im doing my best to make it simple to
understand....); noone is claiming that they can PROVE either
position in the debate.
the point is that it's more probable that the show isn't
scripted. i've posted mass reasons for that.
further more, if you have 0 evidence or arguments for either
position(this is what you're claiming?) -> then both seem
equally likely to be true? how are you so confident in your
proposition being right? or even making more sense than mine?
it's just absolutely crazy to everyone. and this is ASSUMING
that all my reasons are flawed/irrelevant. once you accept that
there are good reasons to think that the show isn't scripted, it
just appears like you're trolling all over the place because you
don't adress these reasons/post arguments for what you're
claiming.
