I don't believe in God because there is no good reason to
believe in God.

I believe in God because there is good reason to believe in God.
Through physics, the knowledge of nature, we find that no matter
how much smaller particles we find there are always smaller
particles leaving us to believe that we were created by
something instead of nothing.

how does universe seems infinite = god exists?
Also having a "good reason" to believe in god is pretty
irrelevant. "good reason" could mean anything... like "it makes
me happy". what is important in determining if god exists is the
evidence present for its existence, which there simply isn't
any.

If good reason is irrelevant then you don't believe in God
because you don't believe in God.
Why don't you believe in God?

Why don't you believe in God?[/quote]
You can apply the same logic to every imaginable thing then. Why
don't you believe in a flying spaghetti-monster? Why don't you
believe the Hindu gods exist? Why don't you believe an immortal
man named McFuckface exist? Unless you believe that every
imaginable thing exist, you're using the same irrelevant
argument as I do.
Basic Logic states that you can't prove that something doesn't
exist. It's up to the person claiming that something exist to
prove it, not the other way around.

You can prove that something exists. Look for it and you will
find it. That is how we find all things.

He's saying you can't prove something doesn't exist, which is
why it's on you to provide proof or evidence supporting the
existence of God.

You can only prove intangible things, like the pythagorean
theorem or X in Y, Y in Z, thus X in Z. Even the most basic
things on the physical world, such as gravity, time, etc, can't
be proven. Instead we gather a large amount of evidence and make
generalization.
This is why it is the theory of gravity, the theory of
evolution, and the theory of the big bang. Physics tends to use
a different terminology, but a physical law is still defined as
"a theoretical principle deduced from particular facts."
And, as such, when taking the words "theist" and "atheist"
strictly, it is illogical to be either. Instead, agnosticism,
which accepts that a God may exist, it simply can't be proven,
would describe those that are logical.
As such, when I say I'm an atheist, what I really mean is that I
accept there is a chance God may exist, it is just incredibly
improbable, to the point of near zero, to be the case.
Zooming in on particles and learning they are complex is by no
means evidence a creator exists. Evidence of such would be to
find a pattern of galaxies that spell out the words, "I Exist,"
or even, "potato." You know, something that we can't attribute
naturally. Even then, I'd rather accept the existence of an
extremely complex civilization that has such advanced technology
it can guide the location of galaxies after surviving a Big Bang
type event.

not understanding the world.
