       Sexuality
   DIR By: Tollison

My policy on sexuality: Don't ask and don't tell.
Everyone eventually finds out their sexuality and expresses it,
but to ask of someones sexual orientation has the potential to
make people feel inferior because what they find normal you find
strange and therefore you may leave the bystander feeling the
way you tell him he is. If you call someone stupid there is a
possibility you have made that person feel stupid. You are only
obligated to do so based on your morals.
If you feel that being either homo or heterosexual is something
to joke about then you're missing the point of co existence and
humor. We can co exist, but only by our self control. We can
make jokes, but only of things that are worthy of being joked
about. Sexuality isn't something to joke about unless you
believe that sexuality is a joke itself. You either believe
that sexuality doesnt or does matter importantly.
The point of societies, communities, civilizations, etc. are not
to bash people. They form and develop through cooperation.

       I completely disagree.
One of the biggest aspects of community/communication is to find
potential mates, be it a one-night stand or a long-term
relationship. A heterosexual can, in most cases, easily find a
potential mate, and can make open advances.
However, that is in only most cases. If, however, you are a male
hitting on a woman, and she simply doesn't inform you that she
is gay, you are completely wasting your time, and she's probably
going to get frustrating. She should obviously tell you.
And what of those of the same-sex persuasion? Am I not allowed
       to hit on people?
Don't ask, Don't tell might be a plausible idea in a
professional setting (I don't think it is, but it's easier to
argue towards), but in society it is an absolute horror.
Orientational is just one of many essential aspects that you may
need to know/let other people know for a relationship to have a
chance at all (others being marital status, age, etc).
Further, there is the simple aspect of community. Straight
people might walk around their lives wondering why they never
see gay people, but it's the complete opposite for gay people.
Most of us hang out with a lot of other gay people, and we
wouldn't know if we didn't ask.
Asking is a lot better than assuming. And if you don't ask, you
will assume... and sometimes be completely wrong.
And furthering that point, there is also the idea of
representing the population. Because of the "closet" casing
already, it is impossible to even get an accurate statistic on
just how many people identify as homosexual, bisexual, etc.
People seem to think 1% of the population is gay, but most
literature are suggesting figures of 4%, with younger
populations as high as 8%. But how can we really know while the
stigma still exists and to such a large extent? The homosexual
community has specific needs to be catered too, just as the
heterosexual community does and takes for granted.
What do you even mean by Don't Ask, Don't Tell? Does that
include for the federal government? What about issues of
marriage? Let's just pretend gay people don't exist and not let
them get married or get federal benefits? State benefits? What
about work-related benefits, such as family health coverage?

If you have to ask of sexual orientation then it isn't a natural
process. Sex just happens. I don't ask if she is straight or
not, but I do know I'm attracted to her and if she is attracted
to me then 1+1 has a high probability of making 2 if we are
consistently in the same area. Same applies for homosexuals.
Chakra, you can hit on me all you want, but I won't end up in
the bed with you. I don't find males sexually attractive and I
will not slander you for your sexual orientation. It is
scientifically proven that there are many different things about
humans that specialize us from any organism we know of, but that
doesn't mean we should provide those different things with
benefits directly. We should focus on what creates those
diversities and pave the way for them to live without physical
       or mental harm.
Family, Government, Health Care, and Education are all human
diversties. Some humans prefer one over the other
I'm into Natural Law. Here are it's precepts:
       1. That good is to be done and pursued, and evil is to be
avoided. Ex. Following the Ten Commandments.
       2. Preserve life and ward off its obstacles: Ex. Use police to
eliminate or detain those that are or seek doing bodily and
       environmental harm.
       3. Reproduce and raise your offspring. Ex. Have at least one
parent stay home and teach your offspring valuable and
applicable things in the world so whenever they reach the age of
an adult they will be useful in human community.
4.Pursue knowledge and live together in society. Ex. When
something is considered truth by one it must be put to trial by
multiples and obtain the same results as the one.
I believe the government shouldn't provide incentives to
marriage. I believe it's the governments job to deal with
broader human problems by applying the precepts above.

So are you suggesting I should sit there hitting on you when I
have absolutely zero chance of it? Sounds like an easily
avoidable issue by you just telling me I'm not your type.

What's this? Most philosophers have extreme differences.

       > 1. That good is to be done and pursued, and evil is to be
avoided. Ex. Following the Ten Commandments.
       --- End Quote ---
Now we're getting into morality, which is another subject. I'd
rather keep this about sexuality. However, the Ten Commandments
should be STRONGLY avoided in basing moral codes on. "I am the
Lord thy God," "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," "Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image," "Thou shalt not take
the name of the Lord thy God in vain," "Remember the sabbath
day, to keep it holy," are all illogical, non-natural
constructs. Some other ones are just plain silly depending on
       social context.
       --- Quote ---
       > Reproduce and raise your offspring. Ex. Have at least one

       --- End Quote ---
So I'm against nature if I don't reproduce? I think we have
enough humans in the world. Further, child-rearing by parents
alone seems extremely counterintuitive and counterproductive.
Why not have a few people, like three, be dedicated to raising
       twenty children?
       --- Quote ---
       > Pursue knowledge and live together in society.

Can I live alone? I know Aristotle calls those who live alone
either animals or Gods, but I'm not too sure.

       > I believe the government shouldn't provide incentives to

Me neither. However, because we live within a Capitalistic
system, I believe individuals should be able to work together,
and the state should recognize such instances.

I'm not stating insults as you show them to be.
I'm giving you knowledge but you don't want to take it.
       Why?
Did you even read up on my views before you judged me?
I know your side of the pain of rejection. That's happened to
every gamer on wc. You can tell by pure conversation
Basically all players play because something in their lives to
make them function normally in society is changed into playing
       WC.
You feel offended by words that are of no offense.
it = truth. Give it a chance.
I'm not saying turn straight, but I'm saying that if you would
keep yourself on a more personal level you will find out to be
more powerful in society just because being a better observer
makes you a better human. Find out what you can change at the
biggest level, and then figure out how to fix minuscule problems
like what we have today in society.
If we would fund some science and mathematics people, which the
federal government can, and just go full defense at our borders,
we would invent things so powerful that they would decide the
fate of Earth and our Sun as we know it. I believe this to be
true way before our time, but I'd love to see a space age with
       humanity.
If you think I'm crazy then you need to brush up on your
sciences and mathematics books that are also considered,
       Literature, and History!
When has there ever been a failure of the use of the most
dominant technology as an influence of power. Imagine building
either robots that build theirselves or weapons that our nation
could use as protection as USA has done before.
Pay off our debt and GAIN money.

Nature - the phenomena of the physical world collectively
You have as much of a chance of achieving your lustful thoughts
as you are the next guy. Homo Sapiens are very similar in
       nature.
You're talking on the internet. Use it. It is resourceful.
Look up natural law and look at the precepts I listed for you to
       understand my philosophy.
Thou shalt not commit adultery. If you would have known the Ten
Commandments you would understand my terminology before you
       posted.
It's a precept of Natural Law. You be the judge of who is most
credible to define Natural Law and then come back and report to
       me.
You may live alone, but you also may not. Like Apes for
       example.
Protectionism would be best for us all on Earth. It must start
in the U.S.A. Protectionism is less government barriers on
trade. We may still monitor what is inside and identify harmful
objects with surveillance cameras and have an
underground/underwater dock with air and naval defense at the
deepest of depths. Robots can be produced to sort through our
imports and exports making it very convenient for protecting our
fellow human in unhealthy environments. Have Dock guards at the
ready in a random angle in the building you form from the dock
       to protect against planned invasions.
A nervous system alarm in both the dock and building allowing
for full possible defense towards enemies.
Protectionism is as fundamental as it gets in the survival of
the fittest debate. We give great power of trade to the private
sector and you will see an economically efficient economy. Been
       proven for years.
Government restriction deprives the public and private sector of
its economy. How do you expect it to prosper when all the
government does is take from us, the individuals? Capitalism is
a self regulating market, but there is a lot of government
intrusion now leading us to believe we are more Socialistic than
       Capitalistic.
Anointed Tax is illegal. Don't approach that until you've read
       upon it.
The only way you may have an honest government is if itself
abide by its own laws which all of Earths countries do not do
so. The respect for law is an institutional quality and to
disobey it is to disrespect it. Luckily the more developed
people are able to use logic, rhetoric, and reasoning to
determine if the criminal is capable of moral judgement. They
are trained that way. They are what keep humanity in
       progression.
Chakra, what I'm trying to make you understand is you need to
focus on the big picture, the message our world plays, and also
what can you write about the subjects given to youI instead of
reading something and not contributing to helping the cause of
       sexual freedom?
No cost on population = minimum restrictions on them. Only
provide the monitoring of the products and quotients that you
have certified to be the expected products and quotients.
We as a people must define what products and quotients are best
for us and then demand them and then have those that will supply
       us with them.
The greatest of Kingdoms and Empires all had the same birth and
death. They allowed social problems caused by men and women
dictate the governments best interest instead of the peoples.
Developments of the best interest for people = architecture,
technology, Agriculture, Renewability, sustainability, etc. for
       the citizens of your country.
When you take from the people directly, the more you take the
poorer they will become and the richer the government gets
either by money or military power.
Whatever the next big war is over whether it be wwiii or a civil
war of first world countries vs third, second world countries
the end result is going to end in economic disaster and leave us
either enslaved or begotten of government control.

wobbily stuff that should have zero relevance on a basic

So how do we talk about natural law if we have different
conceptualizations of it? Locke argues it is there from the
beginning as a natural regulator within society, while Hobbes
argues it comes from a warring society that realizes life would
be easier if we agreed to stop fighting. The difference is Locke
argues it is a core feature of society while Hobbes would say it
is something we humans add. I believe Machiavelli would argue it
doesn't exist while Spinoza would argue it is a blending of
       Hobbes' and Locke.
They all say it is something different and the differences have
fundamental consequences on how we talk about it. It is not a
term we should reference blindly, but rather with descriptors
such as "Locke's Natural Law," or just avoid the phrase all
together and say what we mean, such as saying laws that have a
natural tendency to come about given time. Perhaps laws that are
