       Commonwealth of Dumai

       ---------------------------------------------------------
The Commonwealth of Dumai is a nation known for its rich,
resource-filed landscape, modern progressive reform and
totalitarian government. Although the city of Dumai constitutes
only one of the Erranahar Isles, the Commonwealth as a nation
controls all of the Isles bar the one that Erranahar City rests
upon. It's citizenry enjoys low taxation, low crime and high
welfare, though the nation suffers from its dated infrastructure
and technology. Notable differences in the legal structure from
many other nations include: polygamy is legal and enforced, the
government carries out a large number of executions.
Dumai's economy runs off of its many important and luxury
resources: sugar, wheat, mythril, uthium and a quantity of
monster resources can all be harvested en masse from Dumais
       bountiful land and ecosystem.
The nations creation story relates to the city of Dumai
previously being a part of the Erranahar Nation. Roughly one
century after its creation, the differential treatment of the
Erranahar City to its many colonies sparked many embers among
the downtrodden and poor in Dumai. A decade of instability,
unrest and civil war followed, resulting in Dumai earning its
independence but being left in an damaged and dilapidated state.
The years of war and the defeat greatly weakened Erranahars
strength and excised it as being a player in the world stage.
