       Uger
By: Chente Date: July 8, 2020, 5:21 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
A testimony to old glories and rising powers, Uger glitters at
the very edge of West Nomum, surrounded by sand, plains and sea.
It is the home of ethnic Ugerians and serves as a reflection of
their culture and mores. Withstanding the centuries, Uger is a
city both beautiful and merciless. She woos adorers, choosing
from them whom she will bless or devour.
Fame, wealth and strength can be obtained and wielded in Uger,
and there is more to living than quietly surviving. The peoples
belief in this even links to the citys Ugerian motto: 'dolore
peuti sis`sis', or in common, 'Let wake the sleeping dead.'
Previously a city-state that grew into a small nation, Uger was
led by , and ran its economy off of the power of enslaved
Pantera. This all ended exactly three yeas after Reve Day, an
invasion from the then Kingdom of Grafta with a casus belli of
divine right, granted by the sixth king (and his son following
his death). The events of Reve day started a war that lasted for
about a decade, and involved the other independent nations of
       West Nomum as well.
At the end of the Uger-Graftian War, in 702 A.C, Uger was
occupied then annexed as part of the newly found Empire
following Jamaiyal and Lachan. With the conclusion of the war,
slavery was also abolished in Uger. Tensions have been high
since the annexation, and some say there is still a lingering
hatred in the air of the city. Part of this hatred resulted in
the rise of a few gangs such as the rivalling Blackbloods and
       Redbloods.

       Fauft Catacombs
By: Chente Date: July 9, 2020, 10:07 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
A spiraling maze of underground tunnels, the Catacombs extend
deep into the earth and well beyond the grounds of the temple
above. There is little decoration once one passes beneath the
statute of Mortixis. Instead, one is privy to a long, winding
staircase that leads deep under the city to the initial
graveyard. There is no light, no carved stonework, just miles of
tombs, of dead, of bones and discarded bodies, twisting, turning
caverns that lead to dead ends and caved-in hallways. Every
section of wall has bunk-like indentations that house the bones
of the deceased, sometimes - when it can be afforded - one is
likely to come upon a coffin with minor riches, other times an
entire sarcophagus for the well-to-do, but despite their
luxuries in death, all here share the same, fitting end.

       Redbloods

The Redbloods are one of the most powerful gangs within Uger,
rivalled only by the Blackblood gang. They take their aesthetic
choices out of more northeastern nations, such as Sento, wearing
       Sentonian dresses .
The Redbloods deal thimble flow, a dark-grey substance that is
a highly addictive stimulant. It increases muscle mass and
reflexes temporarily while giving a very good psychedelic effect
to it's users; but also tended to make them more violent and
adding a unique red melanin to their eyes. It also has the side
effect of Bradycardia. Compared to the Blackbloods, the
Redbloods have more control over the black market, but less
presence over the citizens of the empire.
The Caedisians are a group of quintuplets girls who act as
enforcers for the Redbloods, and answer only to their leader.
They are trained in martial arts, assassinations and using a
number of weapons such as knives, polearms, swords and even
firearms and are often sent to punish wrongthing in the gang.
       Their current leader is Omoi.

       Blackbloods

The Blackbloods are one of the empire's oldest criminal
societies, twice as old as the Redbloods and dating back over
one-hundred and twenty years to the Second Kings reign. The term
Blackblood comes from the interpretation many Humans had of
Panteran blood. The Blackbloods, along with their rivals the
Redbloods, have a complete monopoly over the criminal underworld
of Uger and many of its neighboring cities including Jamaiyal,
       Lachan and even Akila.
The Blackbloods number in the thousands and are high in the
smuggling and drug trade, dealing Thimble Flow similar to the
Redbloods. They produce, transport and distribute a large amount
of illicit drugs, contraband and items throughout the empire.
While the Blackbloods are mainly a crime organization, they also
are a magician initiation group, taking in a large amount of
disenfranchised magicians who were attacked in hate crimes.
Among the world's organized crime groups, the Blackbloods have
the highest percentage of magicians, at 6.4%.
Their current leader is Xetheir Pyr Helios.
