Vasco Black Style: Iaijutsu - Ichi "One!"

       {A Few Years Ago}
A dark man with a lot of hair stands tall with eyes of blue
shades... he is in fairly exotic clothes that are light enough
to accentuate his speed. He wields a sword, a katana to be exact
with a thin profile that would make it nearly invisible from a
       distance.
Unknown Man: Vasco, come ere'. I got something I want you to do.
Vasco B. Jr.: What's up, dad?
Vasco B. Sr.: Watch me swing this sword, then- tell me how many
times I swung when I say I'm done.
Vasco B. Jr.: Ah...okay? You use swords?
Vasco B. Sr.: A soldier must know how to use a number of
weapons, a gun is not always in hand and some enemies are harder
to fight with only a pistol... well, exacept for me, I can do
anything with a gun but you might not be so lucky.
Vasco B. Jr.: Yeah whatever, Pops.
Vasco B. Sr.: Shut up and watch me, before I make you spend
       another hour in the 'cell'.
As the child stiffened up upon hearing that, the older man looks
away at a dummy covered in a mat that had already been soaked in
water. It is said that only certain weapons that were sharp
enough could cut this as it was durable enough to withstand
immense punishments. That was some mythical bullshit though,
almost any piece of metal that was sharp enough and could hold
it's own weight could cut it... some just have an easier time
than others. But, as the man starts the draw he immediately
swings the sword once and re-sheathes the blade... It seems as
though nothing had happened. No cut was inflicted and through
the sword was too fast to see being swung, the child was sure he
       only swung it once.
       Vasco B. Jr: One!
Vasco B. Sr.: Close but not close at all.
Vasco Jr. would've called it early as suddenly the dummy would
be cut a number of times over, into strings of it's material and
fell to the ground, Sil coming in at the last moment would look
in wonder at the scene of it.
Vasco B. Sr.: The right answer is one hundred million.
Vasco B. Jr.: W-what!? How could you swing that much when I only
       saw it once...
Vasco B. Sr.: You know, your old man isn't a swordsman but one
day you'll learn to see bullets fly and pace their trajectory
but... bullets aren't the only thing that can move so fast and
like I taught you... Speed can increase the mass of an object,
it's not just correlation that the fastest attacks can be the
hardest hitting and a bullet penetrates through things easily
due to how fast you can fire a small aerodynamic piece of metal.
Bullets can be limited by durability, some choose to offset this
with mana reinforcement. Others, get larger bullets. But, a
sword is aerodynamic as well, some more than others and the
thinner the blade, the better the cut. It's simple physics, you
know all this already. But, we aren't strong as other
swordsmen... We move quickly, Sil would be better at this than
you but.... Sil doesn't need this. You're gonna learn to swing
this so fast that the attack despite your weakness in strength
like other swordsman by creating a perpetual increase in mass
with speed. You'll perform cuts cleaner, without the need for
       unnecessary weight training.
The child nods and is given a training wooden blade with a
sheathe that was on the lighter side, there was a pile nearby as
if they were expected to break.
"Keep swinging it... until it gets dark..."
The child looked horrified at that sentence, not because of the
fact he had to train... but because it was only about seven in
the morning. Of course, this- was only the beginning and this
training had been a secondary activity for him for years after
       perfecting
       {Present}
Vasco Black Jr. looks at a blade, a relatively thin knife and
grabs it... A tomato in front of him, he looks at it and easily
with a flick.. it was diced.
       Vasco Black: One.
