       Heavensturn (also known as Moonsturn) is a celebration that
       marks the passing of the Shattered Moon, Myrrhs second satellite
       that only appears during this period of time. Heavensturn is
       celebrated from mid July to late September, the Moon. It began
       as a time of giving thanks to Spirits and the dead in the
       Apondian region, with the sacrifice of rabbits being done to
       'bring cheer to the ranks of the dead'. The rabbit is the sacred
       animal of Heavensturn, and it is popular with the Bold, Humans
       and Lupus.
       People often pray specifically to their friends and family who
       have passed to help support their spiritual journey, as death is
       a natural part of the karmic cycle. A vigil of Mortixis in
       Taminist circles or Thanatos in more general space is quite
       common during Heavensturn.
       It is said that on these spiritual days, one person among all
       others will win celestial favor from the spirits, and gain
       unimaginable power for the remainder of the year. This persons
       thus exerts great influence over the fate of Myrrh throughout
       the waning year; often becoming a legend. Clergymen,
       soothsayers, shamans, and others versed in such matters foretell
       what type of person will gain the spirits favor with each
       turning.
       Throughout Heavensturn
       It is traditional to cook and eat Pache occasionally during
       Heavensturn. Pache is a bread roll stuffed with dockatrice meat,
       dipped in spiced sugarwater. It's often served with fruits or
       vegetables, such as carrots, lettuce and sometimes even
       mushrooms.

       gatherings and more. On the very last day of Heavensturn, it is
       a tradition for large swathes of nobility to gather in the
       Capital and give to the dead and the grieving.
