Five Ancient Beasts

The Ancient Beasts are five extremely mighty beings that lie
somewhere between a creature, a monster and a demon. They have
massive reserves of mana, a distinct lack of a soul but strong
will, and unique powers. Their personalities vary wildly, but
they all have a single focus driven into them: world domination.
The ancient beasts require a host, whom then becomes an almost
Demigod, a Demi. This Demi is forced into a relationship with
the beast, one that is often parasitic in either direction, but
can sometimes also by synergistic if they are compatible enough.
This Demi is able to access all the powers, and the often
massive reserves of mana of their inhabitant.
The first ancient beast and often considered the strongest is
Kurata, the Otherworldly Hound. Of an appearance like a bloodied
and malformed hound, it enjoys cruelty. Its abilities and
Kuratas devilish mannerisms make it one of the hardest Ancient
Beasts to co-exist with. Last sighted in the Red Banner.
Second is the T'huum, the Blood Beast. A silent creature, its
appearance is everchanging, just a large pile of blood with a
desire to propagate itself everywhere, and to eat as much as it
possibly can. Last sighted within West Nomum.
Diaxyses, the Heavenly Monster. Last sighted in North Palamecia.
Viola, the Mechanical Raven. Last sighted in Radio.
The final ancient beast is Finod, Krakken of the Deep. It is
the creature from which all krakken myths were born, and is a
octopus of unimaginable size and a very shadowy appearance.
Historically, its demi have said that it is lethargic and quite
confusing to speak with. Last sighted in the Drakelands.

The wielder of Finod has complete control over the domain of
water: a few legends say that it could also manipulate solid or
gaseous water, but this has yet to be seen or proven. They can
create Water from thin-air without Mana, and proceed to control
it and natural sources of water up to a limited distance, as
well as move across it like it was part of their body. Water
that is too diluted with other substances however cannot be
controlled.
Finod has a secondary ability: unprecedented amounts of
regenerative vitality to heal any injury as long as there is
enough energy. They can reconnect their body with tentacles
should it be bisected, or if the injuries are too severe to
heal, they can create an entire new body from a limb, as long as
their soul is in distance. This vitality also allows them to
create life, generally aquatic life, such as subservient fish or
mindless tendrils to work on their behalf. Although it takes a
heavy toll on their energy, the wielder can even bestow this
regenerative force onto others.

By making water they stand on work like part of their body, the
wielder can walk and run on water as if it were solid ground.

The wilder of Thuum can manipulate blood and its contents up to
a few meters naturally (though this can be increased through
various methods). Although a targets blood can be controlled if
in close range and can cause pain, it will innately resist, and
it is far easier to use the users own blood for more direct
attacks; inserting their own blood into other people allows them
to exert influence over their movements without this drawback.
The users own blood can be reinforced with mana to increase the
range of it, allowing it to be used further then a few meters
and to control its properties.
Thuum also allows its user to switch parts of their body from
blood and back with relative ease, and to create more blood. As
a result, the user can have far more blood on supply then normal
by creating some, and they can shrug off otherwise dangerous
injuries by turning limbs into blood, and then manipulating them
back into limbs good as new. This process however has a notable
drain on its users energy and is better served by being used for
brief moments.
Despite its power, the blood can be diluted with other
substances, most notably poison which counters it. Oil, gold,
minerals and water can also be added to change its properties
and weaken it.
Blood Spikes
Rank: C+
The user shapes blood into a spike-like formation, then turns it
into a crystal. When reinforced with mana, the spikes reach a
nearly diamond-like hardness, being harder then steel, and
easily cut through whatever they come into contact with. The
technique is a useful way to fend off approaching attackers, as
well as a good way to stop opponents from fleeing.
Air Perforation

By dispersing specialized blood into a specific area, the caster
is able to discern the presence of bodies that come into direct
contact with it. The sensing blood can be spread across a wide
terrain, or even float in the air allowing aerial foes to be
detected. Once the blood comes in contact with a person, it will
wrap itself around them, rendering even invisible targets,
visible. It has a visual second effect however of forcing living
beings in range to blush.
Blood Bullet
Rank: B
The user fires out a highly variable bullet of blood to attack
the target, and controls it. It can be hardened to the user's
liking with more mana, giving it the same force as a
sledgehammer if they want it to, and then softened again.
Becuase the user can fully shape it, and even control its size,
it can be used for all types of damage; large for breaking
bones, small for making deep wounds and more. A
Blood Rapture Coffin

Using their own blood, and more produced through Th'uum's power,
the user immobilizes their targets and captures them. Because
the blood is naturally malleable, most of the target's usual
methods for defence or escape become ineffective once they've
been encased by it. They can only wait for death or release if
they lack any way to properly break out of it.
Sanguine Ferro Clone
Rank: A-
The user shapes a large portion of blood into a lookalike of
themself that fights for them. It is not clear through its
composition that its a clone, and can be used as a decoy.
If its damaged to the point of breaking, it is reverted into
blood and can be used to immediately capture the opponents limbs
used to destroy it.
Sanguine Tomb Eruption
Rank: A+
After landing portions of their blood in the targets circulatory
system, either through cuts, wounds, or seeping the in the Blood
Coffin, the user raises their hands and forces the blood to
expand and push outward. The blood presses out of the target
from all diretions until they are pulverized and implode,
killing them. Soon after, their remains and blood proceed to
fall briefly like rain, scattering throughout the area.

Kurata

Kurata's wielder has the power to control a unique form of
aspected-mana: negative mana, which flows with negative emotions
and hatred. They can flow this mana through them directly like
an Amp Body, granting a massive power boost. However, this
causes a sense of paranoia and negative emotions to run through
them, eventually ending up as madness if too much is flown
through its user.

The wielder has control over various properties of physics in a
local range around them, including electromagnetism,
temperature, chemistry and quantum physics. The range of this is
very short, however it can be extended in a delayed fashion via
touch through their hands.
