       History: Veronica worked on the OWL Project during her younger
       days, experimenting and splicing their DNA. She had felt as
       though this was morally wrong and believed that they were just
       as human as she was even though they were supersoldier Synths.
       She couldn't stand the fact that the Owls were treated as lesser
       than a dog until they were the current, and even then they were
       simply seen as a rabid tool. There wasn't much she could do in
       her current situation as the company had her locked in a
       contract; if she left or tried anything it would ruin her
       chances anywhere else, as the project would blacklist her. She
       had to accept her current reality, but she put effort into
       making it better for the OWLs. All the clones really did look up
       to her as a sort of mother or coping device in this hell hole.
       She had made a exceptional bond with the current "Owl" who she
       nicknamed Crow as she differentiated each and every Owl. When
       the current Owl had decided he was gonna leave the company and
       forge his own destiny, Veronica followed suit with him. Thanks
       to the "Owl" who now had the memories of the original, Owl now
       possessed the authority he needed to let her go. He ordered the
       OWL Project heads to abolish her contract and so she was free.
       They parted ways for a while before she got contacted by him
       again in late 2199. He offered her a job as a scientist at XCOM
       which she accepted becoming, then becoming the Head of the
       Science Department (Research Director). She would work closely
       with Owl, surprised that he had advanced so far and often would
       act like a mother to him, earning her the title the Iron Mother
       around XCOM. Together, OWL and Veronica invented the T-45 power
       armor.
