HISTORY OF THE COLLECTIVE
After the Lifebyte wars Russia was left in an even worse state
than before. Along with a growing poverty line underground crime
syndicates backed by megacorps started making their claims
across the country and the government was in no place to
countervail against this growing corruption and any who would
attempt to would be swiftly stomped out. Vladimir Karamazov was
one such man who would learn this lesson. After being kicked out
of the armed forces and being forced to re-enter his country as
a civilian once more he was disgusted by what he saw. Displaced
war heroes with nowhere to go but the gutter. Children living on
the streets as orphans. Megacorps using the Russian people for
cheap labor and test subjects. He could not stand seeing this
bastardization of his own country.
After seeing that the government was obsolete and couldn't
protect its own people Vladimir knew it was up to him to take
hold of this festering city and keep it under control. He formed
the Kalashnikov Collective a crime syndicate with the goal of
bearing down upon other crime syndicates and the megacorps who
were funding them. Mainly comprised of ex-military disillusioned
with what has become of Russia they are a force to be reckoned
with.
TACTICS AND EQUIPMENT

Since they are based in the slums and many members are extremely
poor and often homeless so they do not have the most optimal
gear. However they make up for this downfall by using
unconventional guerrilla tactics making them incredibly hard to
predict. If in a fight they will often try to finish as fast as
possible by using superior tactics as opposed to firepower. Most
members are usually armed with AKs and very basic body armor.
However due to raids upon megacorp convoys some members may
acquire much more powerful gear. Usually the more well armed the
member is the more afraid of him you should be since this
signifies that he has been in and survived multiple raids. Most
members treat each other with respect and usually frown upon hot
headed actions that could compromise missions.
Structure

Pakhan - is the Boss or Krestnii Otets "Godfather" and controls
everything. The current Pakhan of the collective is Vladimir.
Sovietnik - ("Councilor"), is the advisor and most close trusted
individuals to the Pakhan. The current Sovietnik is Chris.
Kryshas - literally "roofs", "covers". Extremely violent
"enforcers" as well as cunning individuals. Such enforcers are
often employed as squad leaders for raids and attacks working as
a commander for the Boyeviks under them.
Boyevik - literally "warrior" usually put in squads of 5 and led
by a Krysha they are the foot soldiers of the collective and
make up most of the man power in the organization.
Initiates - Members that have not yet spilled blood for the
cause to prove themselves. They most be approved by at least a
Krysha before they may rise in rank. Usually they get the worst
equipment i.e melee weapons.
Crimes for fun and profit!
The Kalashnikov Collective perform most of the expected crimes a
crime syndicate would be expected to perform including but not
limited to arms dealing, mining terra, kidnapping, corporate
espionage, organized robberies and raids, drug dealing, etc.
However in the areas they control protection is free and the
people will not be sold out for the gain of megacorps. This has
pretty much gained them a positive reputation among the people.
However they do have a very strong reputation for punishing
those that wont accept and adapt to their control often leading
to mass "cleanings" so perhaps the positive reputation is more
out of fear.
