       The Dead Forest

       The Dead Forest is known that way for a reason; as everyone who
       enters that is not born from the city of Errawahar is known to
       find themselves lost, never to find the exit again. A heavy mist
       constantly engulfs the forest; making sure only those who know
       and respect the forest such as those in Errawahar can find their
       way out.
       Compasses, maps, and whatever other devices used for navigating
       are all known to misdirect, misguide, and even outright fail--
       even magic is noticeably dulled in the forest. The forest is
       filled with corpses that many never find a proper burial as
       those who may have once known, or cared for these bodies have
       since died off long ago. It is said that The Headless Horseman
       wanders these woods, as at night the echoes of maniacal laughter
       can be heard throughout the entirety of the forest. The city
       inhabitants only ever enter the Dead Forest by necessity and
       only the outer edges where the rare herbs, roots, and plants can
       be found.
