       An offshoot of Humans, Daeva are the descendants of the men and
       women who created the initial ASCENSION program and the
       Editosphere. They carry a unique data tag seen nowhere else that
       descends through their lineage, which carries a sole benefit:
       the ability to store abnormal amounts of EN. Often, Daeva are of
       the middle-richer class as their family originated from the
       people who made the project, and were the most knowledgeable
       about it when it began. Many Daeva consider a split among them
       between 'pures' and 'radii', a further form of ethnic purity.
       The pures are those whose lineage is entirely within other
       Daeva, a process which has resulted in an excess of inbreeding
       through generations. The radii are those whose lineage comes not
       only from other Daeva.
