Aodoula is a city-state in Remnant. It has many varied locations
strewn about it, a complex maze of streets and alleys, and sits
on Famfrit Lake, being
characterized by its many canals.
In 183 A.C, when the War of Bishuétz broke out, many people
seeking to escape the war fled for refuge in the southern lands
of Remnant, settling there to seek safety. Over the next three
harsh years, under the blessing of the Summon Spirit of Water,
Undine, the settlers managed to build a neutral city as a safe
haven for all who wanted no part with the war. The city was
dubbed Aodoula, christened with its nickname 'The City on the
Lake' due to its proximity to the Famfrit Lake.
Aodoula sits in a very central and reachable area to most of the
world, bearing many diverse cultures along with political,
economic and religious freedom. It bears the Southern Eye
Cathedral, upon which Remnant's Guardian Angel sits. The current
Guardian Angel is Cynthia.
