Gigantic in size, the towering Dragons were of the first
creatures to ever exist on Myrrh, and speak the Draconic
language. Although most dragons do not interact with the other
races and live in the Drakelands, a few hide in sparsely
populated territories. The dragon's skin is covered with Stoney
scales, which contrast their leathery yet majestic wings. They
have sharp canine teeth that line side to side, a few even
extending out of the mouth. Their most notable feature is their
beautiful yet fierce slit-like eyes. Dragons have a sharp
appetite for Coal and other minerals.
Although full dragons are of course the most common, there are
also those who are not one-hundred percent dragons. Dragonkin
and Draketouched are considered the 'half-way point of being a
dragon', being genetically half-dragon. It is said that the very
first Dragonkin and Draketouched were born after the dragon
All-Mother Isiamiel fornicated with a Bold man. Although the two
terms are occasionally used interchangeably, there are a few key
differences to note between the two terms. Dragonkin are clearly
more dragon then their lesser half, often being larger and more
scaled while Draketouched keeps the main traits of their other
species and more readily fit into other societies.

Radiant Drakes

Radiant Drakes sport wings with colors akin to stained glass and
beautiful, glossy scales that reflect their surfaces. Their
manes are comprised of a tight web of metallic fibers. Radiant
Drakes also have horns as opposed to most other draconic
species. Considered the most conventionally beautiful of all
the dragons, their breath is varied and dependent on the element
of magic they have recently been hit with.
While smaller in size and less durable when compared to their
other draconic dragons, Radiant drakes have increased
intelligence and ability to learn magic and other languages. As
a result, they find an easier time blending into various
territories, usually throughout Sento. Due to their natural diet
being Sepith hordes Radiant Drakes are far more versatile and
devastating in their breath attacks, eating the magic from their
foes before reversing it into their own power. This breed of the
dragon also sports the peculiar tendency of using cast and
ritual magic, setting magical traps inside the entrances to
their hordes. This requires teams made to dispatch of them pack
those with the ability to dispel near-archmage levels of magic.
However, the resources that their corpses provide benefit users
with the potential to create a variety of magic bolstering
tools. Recently, it has been discovered that Radiant Drakes seem
to have an allergic reaction to Uthium, halting them from using
their breath attacks and muting the colors within their bodies
while draining their stamina.

ForgeFangs

Found within deep caves, ForgeFang dragons have no arms, legs,
or wings. They are melded within the floors of their cave
dwellings, shifting within the earth as a form of movement. In
this state, ForgeFangs also have a supernatural sense of all
within their domain and can detect the movement of any lifeforms
within them. This ability also extends to an innate control over
their domains, allowing them to manipulate any earth within a 15
yalm radius. Their sharp fangs are made of a reinforced version
of the same minerals within the caves of their choosing. Unlike
other dragons, ForgeFangs do not have a typical breath attack as
the lava they spew is not entirely formed by magic, but as a
weaponized version of the byproduct of their digestive system.
Whenever they feel threatened, the lava they use to digest the
food within their hordes is then violently ejected and imbued
with mana, allowing it to affect enemies metaphysically. To make
matters worse, these dragons have an innate ability to repel
metals attempting to harm it when they have the stamina and mana
to do so. This particular type of dragon is known to be quite
aggressive and territorial even among the draconic, and a terror
for any dungeoneers who mistakingly stumble upon them.
Their bones and scales are commonly formed into weapons and
armors with astounding durability. The equipment formed from
their remains has the innate ability to repel all metals near
the user with an input of mana, although the scope is far less
than that of the dragons themselves.

Drakehounds and House Dragons

Drakehounds are a relatively common relic of the Alliminian
Empire. Common enough to the point that their history of being
fierce protectors have been lost as they slowly became
selectively bred as cute pets for mage families. While they can
come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, the most common
type is a small, four-legged creature with a patchy brown mane.
Most notably, they sport a pattern of rings and markings unique
to each one. Drakehounds that come from the same family have
similar patterns, causing some collectors to go so far as to buy
them in a set with the whole family included to complete their
collection.
While they are quite energetic and friendly around humans,
drakehounds can become incredibly aggressive when given improper
care. Even they enjoy a good horde, and if their caretakers have
not managed to sate their needs, the drakehound will be sure to
remind them with a breath attack of sticky, incredibly
high-temperature ash capable of causing third-degree burns if
not treated quickly with magic. It is for this reason that the
vast majority of drakehounds are bred within Spiritvale, as most
other locations have far stricter laws around harboring such
temperamental animals.

Beings made of pure mana and the result of a particular spell,
House Dragons are typically a young mage's first familiar unless
their lineage has a history of a particular one. Each is roughly
one and a half times the size of a human hand. While they too
have minor hordes and needs that must be kept, they are
typically far easier to deal with than Drakehounds due to their
fear of any humans they have not already imprinted upon. House
Dragons also have the ability to speak common like their other
draconic brethren, allowing care to flourish smoothly. Most
remarkably, a house dragon feeds upon the mana of its owner, and
the more powerful the owner the greater the house dragon with
some able to reach sizes above that of an average adult Iblis at
their peak. Even further, they copy the aspect of their owner
with their breath attack the following suit.
