       Dumai

A city across the Hecate Ocean from the Isles, Dumai stands as
the only port in Origin whose docks remained open to vessels of
all types during the Great Wars. Here, ships from all corners of
the world can be found, and it is not uncommon to even see
Graftian galleys and Neo-Rebel warships docked side-by-side. The
bustling center of trade boasts a beautiful cityscape and also
serves as a den of espionage and political intrigue.
The Erranahar Isles that Dumai sits on was long unclaimed by
any. It was said that since immemorial times, a great force
slumbered there that leeched the spirits of anyone who stayed
there. In spite of this, the isles were famous for its wild and
rugged beauty, particularly its lush green forests and striking
waterfalls, which fed into and out of Hecate Ocean.
It was the unclaimed nature of the area, as well as its central
position on the Ocean and its verdancy, that likely attracted
the attention of the Graftian Empire. After taking Jamaiyal, the
Imperial Sea Fleet made a move en-masse into Dumai led by the
mighty super-dreadnought, the Fear. However, as the imperial
fleet advanced into the archipelago, it was met with a wholly
unexpected sight. On that same day that the dreadnought had
arrived, settlers from a continent far from the empire had made
land and began crafting a city that would later be Dumai.
