Shattered Curtains - Mastery

Along with your skills, masteries are a major way to define what
your character does in the world. These range from your
knowledge about things and the world around you to your ability
to perform feats; from sneaking around and breaking in to
leading groups and troops, and so on. Some masteries require
training to perform certain actions, and all masteries benefit
from the bonuses given by training.
Masteries pit a d20 roll and a series of modifiers against the
Difficulty of the action you are trying to perform. To perform a
mastery check, roll a d20 and add your mastery level to it. To
note, all masteries cap at level 9.
Athletics
Athletics. Also known as Fitness, one's endurance ability with
the qualities of stamina and physical skill. +1 SPD per level.
>BONUS: Lv.3 - +1 DEF
>BONUS: Lv.6 - +3 DEF
>BONUS: Lv.9 - +10 SPD
Leadership
Leadership. The ability to lead people effectively and get them
to trust in your own leadership more efficiently. Bonus Teamwork
per turn based on mastery level.
>BONUS: Lv.3 - Gain the skill, 'Rushdown'.
>BONUS: Lv.6 - Gain the skill, 'Push the Attack'
>BONUS: Lv.9 - Gain the skill, 'Defensive Maneuvers'
Espionage
Espionage. The practice and ability of spying and gathering
information. -2% damage taken per level
>BONUS: Lv.3 - Gain the skill, 'Ambush (Passive)'.
>BONUS: Lv.6 - Gain the skill, 'Loot Plus (Passive)'.
>BONUS: Lv.9 - Occasionally stay in Stealth longer then normal.
Accuracy
Accuracy. A combination of both types of observational error
(random and systematic), to create high precision motion. +3
Firearm Accuracy per level.
>BONUS: Lv.3 - +4 Attack Accuracy
>BONUS: Lv.6 - +8 Attack Accuracy
>BONUS: Lv.9 - Cannot miss normal attacks.
Medicine
Medicine. The ability to use medical items and understand
medical concepts, then apply them to actual real-world
scenarios. Chemical damage affinity (dealt and received) slowly
moves in the user's favor as this levels.
>BONUS: Lv.3 - +20% Healing Dealt.
>BONUS: Lv.6 - +40% Healing Dealt.
>BONUS: Lv.9 - +60% Healing Dealt.
Construction
Construction. The ability to create a building or infrastructure
efficiently and properly. Start with a bonus amount of Shield
dependent on the users level if they have any shield.
>BONUS: Lv.3 - Gain the skill, 'Create Trap (Cost: 12)'.
>BONUS: Lv.6 - Constructions now have 30% more Health.
>BONUS: Lv.9 - Turn speed is halved upon defending or waiting
behind cover.
Cybercontrol
Cybercontrol. The ability to interact with the features of the
Editosphere and hack the parameters of things within the area.
+3 AP per level.
>BONUS: Lv.3 - Gain the skill, 'Self Hack (Cost: 8)'.
>BONUS: Lv.6 - Gain the skill, 'Hacked Resistance (Passive)'.
>BONUS: Lv.9 - Upon successfully hacking a target, leave a
backdoor that crushes their Firewall for the battle.
