Physical & Spiritual Prowess - Owing to his lineage with the
First Witch, Cyrus holds an impressive amount of mana. Because
he is a werewolf, Cyrus's physical abilities, even in his normal
state, are also enhanced-- especially his lifeforce and
regenerative factor.

Sorcery - A natural-born sorcerer, Cyrus naturally gravitated to
conjuration of his aspected elements of Ice and Water: Cryomancy
and Aquamancy effectively. He is impressive with the two
elements, being capable enough of summoning a small glacier and
then melting it into a tidal wave with the correct spell
combination. Before his training, his talent was enough to get
him scouted for a Military academy. Through Pandora's training
and tutelage, he has shifted into learning greater and better
ice and water magic along with top-class Enchantment.
Other Skills - As stated by Pandora, Cyrus is the most
intellectual member of her students, which can be witnessed in
his fierce battle style and quick strategies that imitated her
own. Cyrus is an excellent tactical analyser, capable of
figuring out his enemy's weak point quickly and efficiently. He
does not miss any slight discrepancies nor make any unnecessary
moves, while refining his next wave from what he learned
previously. He is a good barber and lumberjack, having done both
in order to make money in the past, but an even more excellent
gambler.
Personality:
He comes off as a friendly albeit naive man who is assertive.
He's very motivational and agreeable, often helping people reach
a point of understanding with him and each other. Cyrus does,
however, have a tendency for brief emotional outbursts when
angered, and oft lacks self-awareness, being very blunt. As one
looks deeper however, they can see the more pained pieces of
Cyrus' personality. He holds an inferiority complex and immense
jealousy for Schwarz and Luka, having craved praise from the
only woman he has ever held any respect for: his mentor,
Pandora. Similarly, he feels great shame from his own mistakes,
and his need to rely on others.
Cyrus holds a few a fairly sexist worldview. Although its oft
hidden behind his acting mask, he does still often point out
unappealing things he believes about women, and takes jab at any
in his vicinity when given the opportunity.
Interests: When not focused on his studies into the realm of
magick and its peculiarities, Cyrus is often spending time
practicing his card and dice tricks. He spends an ample amount
of his free-time gambling or improving his skill in gambling.
Also, though he refuses to admit it to anyone else except
Laurie, Cyrus has an interest in magazines about 'plucky' women.
He also collects watches and other technological tools from the
various eras.
Motivations: Cyrus is motivated by a strong want of bettering
himself, and eventually raising a traditional family, away from
the eccentricities and confusion that plagued his.
History: Born to the Etienne name, Cyrus was found to be of a
sickly temperament and male-- two immediate issues in his
family. Firstly, only women of his family could wield the
bloodline's power, the brand of the First Witch. Secondly, the
brands power couldn't be wielded effectively by those of a frail
physical state. As a result, he was immediately disinherited,
and given to distant relatives on the countryside.
For much of his life, he lived as a country boy on the outskirts
of Dan Grafta. Although physically weak, he tried his best to
assist his parents on the farm, who showered him with love. At
around thirteen years of age, he came into his sorcery
potential, enhanced by his bloodline, and began to practice in
secret.
One day, he was caught accidentally freezing a Boshumfa on the
farm with an ice spell in front of a visitor. Instead of
suffering punishment for breaking the anti-magic laws in Grafta,
he was strongly 'recommended' (in reality, threatened) to join
the military instead. Cyrus took this chance and joined the
military, leaving his country life behind and celebrating with
his adoptive mother in a tavern.
While celebrating his entry into the military at a tavern, his
adoptive father was brutally murdered in what was labeled as
'rogue activity' within the kingdom. Because of this, Cyrus
entered into a depression that he fought with all throughout his
time in the military. He also dealt with prejudice from others
for his meek, studious personage, often being called a 'pretty
boy' or 'nerd mage' by other soldiers.
One day, however, he came upon a clue relating to his father's
death that was given to him by someone known as Pandora. From
this, he ran into the name Etienne repeatedly, and managed to
obtain a single visit to speak with the family matriarch:
Potiya. Although she initially tried to avoid answering Cyrus'
questions, she relented and told him the truth. His parents were
actually distant relatives, and that she was his biological
mother.
She also told him that men were incapable of wielding the brand
of the First Witch, and thus they were regularly abandoned
through the families lineage, or married off to propagate it.
Even so, she had regretted abandoning him all those years ago,
and was pleased that he grew into a capable man. After a long
conversation, the two had made up, and that although he couldn't
see her as his mother, he had forgiven her. And that he would
prove her wrong.
Invigorated with new knowledge and with a clear goal on his
mind, Cyrus roused himself from his depression. From then on,
Cyrus focused heavily on improving his physique and demeanor; he
also began trying out different hobbies in order to remove the
'pretty boy' prejudice that people had about him. On good word
from his mother, he had come into contact with a powerful
magician in Sarrz, and planned his immigration there to study
under them.
