Right then, Alice chess. :) There's a slight difference in
notation: Add either /A or /B to the end depending on which
board the piece started on. Like if you wanted to lead by
moving the king's pawn two spaces forward, that'd be 1. e4/A.
If Black replies 1. ... d5/A, you could play exd5/B, e5/B, etc.
Xylorta's got first crack at me; if you still feel like a round
of Alice chess, go ahead and pick a side. :) Otherwise,
anybody else interested in trying this is welcome.

Alice Chess is about pieces teleporting from one board to
another and vice versa.
I suggest you'd read this, as it contains the rules of the game:

A quick hint on early checkmates: One tricky thing about Alice
chess is that getting out of check works rather differently. If
I put you in check on Board A, you can't block the check with
pieces on Board A, because whichever piece you use will be
transported to Board B after it moves. For this reason, it's
easy to mate early if your opponent moves the queen's pawn and
you check the king diagonally with a bishop.
Anyhow. 1. e4/A.

Silly, perhaps. I bet Shane'd not learn the rules, but who
knows. Unexpected things are what he does best, in my opinion!

Bishop to e7/A.
That checkmate isn't going to be easy.

Ah, you've made the first move that would've been
impossible in standard chess. Cool! :)
And at first I thought you'd protected the e5 pawn, but
protection works a bit differently in Alice Chess it seems,
since capturing is now a hit-and-run deal.
:D A piece on Board A can guard friendly pieces on Board B,
but capture enemy pieces on Board A.
That's going to take some getting used to...I thought for a
moment that I'd left you the c3 knight, but actually I got
lucky; if you take it, your queen will show up on Board A where
I could recapture with three different pieces.
On the other hand...in standard chess, I'd follow up with 5.
Qxg7 and 6. Qxh8, crippling you; that won't work here, because
taking the g7 pawn will ship my queen back over to Board B. So
it's working in your favor too. :)
