       DragonRiders/Questions
By: Taylor Date: July 20, 2013, 9:20 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I decided we ought to open a thread where members can ask
questions regarding the story and such, that the authors can
       answer...
I already have a few questions, though, even though I am an
       author.
       To Shane:
[1] What's the difference between a Dark Elf and a Night Elf?
(Il'andri'iel is a Dark Elf, yet apparently there's a Night Elf
named Ondorus appearing in Episode 7?)
[2] Aren't Xeshan and Ximk going to be central to the plot of
the Seretou Alliance? (I think you said something along those
       lines somewhere...)
       [3] What's Shaun's tragic past?

date=1374330013][1] What's the difference between a Dark Elf and
a Night Elf? (Il'andri'iel is a Dark Elf, yet apparently there's

Dark Elves, in the universe of Dragon Riders, are elves who
control the element of Darkness, or are born from such a being.
Il'andri'iel, for example, was born a Dark Elf, because his
parents were both Dark Elves. However, Il'andri'iel's maternal
grandfather was a normal elf, who controlled the element of
Darkness. When he and Il'andri'iel's maternal grandmother got
married, however, it resulted in him becoming corrupted, turning
him into a pure Dark Elf. They're weak to Light but resist
       Darkness.
Night Elves, on the other hand, are elves who hate daylight, and
prefers the night. Much like vampires do, but for entirely
       different reasons.
Night Elves have sensitive skins, but are more adept at doing
assassinations and such. They are also immune to both Light and
Darkness, however, and have pale skins (usually a light purple
       color).
Then there are the Blood Elves. They control the element of
Blood, but are weak to Poison. They prefer day to night, so
think of them as the opposite of Night Elves.
Blood Elves are also extremely violent, however, which earned
them the name of "Blood Elves".

       along those lines somewhere...)[/quote]
Yep. I'm not saying anything though :P
The chapters in Episode 1 where Xeshan and Ximk appear in, are
all prior to 2013, in the year 2012. Xeshan and Ximk went to the
same school as Serena, Ashley and Kori, on Seretou.
However, they just went missing one day, when Serena's parents
were murdered and her therapist killed. No-one knows who killed
those three... except for me, as I'm the one writing everything.
       :P

       Death.
       Lots and lots of death.
Saying that "almost everyone in Shaun's life died" and taking
that up to eleven eleven times is an understatement.
And that's just in a single year, when Shaun was 7.
Imagine him having to go through so much death for three years.
(And most of those are people who don't come from South
Africa... such as illegal immigrants, or aliens from other
       planets...)

But that means... thousands of people died?! :'(
       You're just plain evil! :'(

Double post because I can. And because I'd like to have
       something clarified... Shane.
Chapter 1 of Episode 0 takes place in 2006, right?
Also, in the fanfic, when does 2012 begin? I'd like Justice
Hearts to be mentioned around the start or something like that.
Also, Shane, I got that e-mail you sent, so I updated the
       chapter lists. :)

I wonder if the real Shane knows what the imposter was planning
for the fic so that he can answer you.

It's okay, KarjamP. I'll answer to the best of my ability (not
that it's much of an ability).

       ...
Man, that a single person could cause so much chaos... :-\

Maybe we ought to include a chapter or arc where a main
       character is impersonated? :o

       Yes, that would be nice.
And maybe rewrite this Shane to be similar to you (seeing how
this universe is supposed to be the original)?

Well, Shane hasn't appeared yet in the fanfic, by the looks of
things, so I can do that.
... Although, the myths regarding the "manacles" (like forcing
the Dragon Rider Princess and Prince to get married and such)
       may as well stay.
Apparently the impostor made a "deviation"-thing of the daughter
of one of them (named Ellen Neumann), so...

       Yay~
       ...
       Well, Kim'll be happy. :P
