How to react to sirens and traffic stops

I just saw this guide when I was looking for mods.. I planned to
post it here because alot of people have been doing this.. x)
I hope it can help =]

____________
This guide will consist of "How you should act in a traffic
stop" and how to generally act around police. My main focus of
this guide is to say how you should act in a traffic stop,
however.
If those sirens turn on and it's clearly aimed at you - pull
over. Many people instantly NOS and floor it because:
• They are scared of being frisked
• They are scared of their car being frisked
• They are scared of being arrested (randomly?)
• You want a chase, which is completely non roleplay.
The truth is, if you pull over and roleplay, you will not be
frisked. If you roleplay and act sensibly, we have absolutely no
reason to do so. Your vehicle will not be frisked, and you will
not get arrested randomly.
The only times where you or your car will be frisked (and indeed
getting arrested) is when you evade arrest. Evading just for the
sake of evading is just ridiculous and non roleplay.
Sometimes people say 'I didn't know it was me that you wanted',
and that's not really a fair statement as when you see sirens,
you should pull over immediately anyway. Pulling over as soon as
you see sirens means you can give way to the officer, and if
it's you he wants, you'll be stopped and ready to be spoken to
regarding your driving.
The only acceptable reason there is to evade is that basically
you've just been witnessed by an officer doing something really
bad, e.g. shooting someone or something, if you're genuinely
really wanted (e.g. 2-5 stars) or have no license (don't worry
if you have no license if you're only level 1, generally).
To sum this very brief guide up, when you see sirens, just pull
over, if it's you they/we want, roleplay the traffic stop and
don't just instantly run away for the reasons that are
aforementioned.
Another thing that officers experience on a daily basis, is
severe provoking. If you see a police officer, please do not
just ram him for a chase as this is extremely annoying and non
roleplay. Provoking officers (and even normal players) can
result in an OOC punishment.
