Superman is hands down the star attraction at the park. A hyper
had been planed prior to the park being bought out and becoming
a Six Flags park. But after the chain opted to relocate A Zekoma
Boomerang over adding a 3rd new coaster the savings where put
towards a bigger and better hyper.
The years have been a mixed bag for this coaster. While its
continues to rate high changes to the restraints and height
requirement has alienated some fans and affected the rides feel.
The Bizarro changeover didn't really affect the ride overall but
was a useless conversion. The audio was never really enjoyable
and then stopped working. sine then we have a train with a set
of seats missing and lower capacity. Only plus side to that is
the center back half seats have a very nice view.

I do hope a rumor I heard for the new trains for Superman ring

This was the first time of the yr on superman and red trains
squeaked and felt grindy in the middle cars. The crew was
hauling getting trains dispatched quick. They need new trains
for sure.

The Crew has been good but the trains are definitely showing
their age.

With the new yellow wheels which seem to make the ride run
faster in colder weather and the new indoor Cyborg opening right
next door could we possibly see Superman open for Holiday In the
Park this year? Seems plausible with the success of the event
over the last few years. If Nitro can run in 20 degrees with
little issues i see no reason Superman couldn't. Access to the
area is easy enough with the ramp instead of the stairs for
possible ice issues, even that i don't see a problem. Batman has
3 flights of stairs and they don't even have them perfectly
cleaned off

Who knows By the time I went They had the whole back end of the
park closed. Pandy can run and they had it shut down and its on
the center midway.

B&M vs Intamin, as much as I’d love to see it happen, Intamins
tend to have more cold weather issues. Case in point - opening
day 2010, I’m glad I wasn’t there when it valleyed in the second
tunnel.
