What is your favorite place to eat? What is your go-to food in
       the park to eat?

We kind of like JBs but haven't really been eating in the park
much. That will now be changing as SFNE sent me an email
offering the lowest level dining plan for $34.99. I bought two,
so now I guess we will be eating some at the park. Hard not to
get your money worth at that pricepoint.

At, That price point it's worth getting! For me Chop Six Has
been good the time I got it, The Filling station is another
great option with the Mac N Cheese Sandwiches!

Lets face it when it comes to food SFNE falls short. Easily the
worse park food in New England. I Enjoy the atmosphere at JB's
and the food is OK but I wouldn't write home about it. I do want
       to try chop Six.
I also got the email about the 34.99 pass and might consider it.
When I ate once at JB's last year it cost me nearly $20 just for
lunch. So as long as I use it twice I pay it off. Bothers me
that its lunch thought since I'd me more apt to have dinner then
       the lunch.

One of my go-tos is Take Six and the pasta dishes, hoping to try
the ones at Good Eats later in the season, assuming they can get
their act together with their offerings. I tried one of the mac
& cheese sandwiches from the Filling Station when I was there on
Easter and it was delicious, my favorite of those is the pulled
       pork.

I'll keep that in mind. Sadly on opening day the Filling Station
       was a nightmare.

Since my post about this got wiped out by the hostile deletion
of the old forum, I’ll repost this as a reminder...
If you have a membership, you can use your member discount at
park-owned eateries towards most if not all food offerings that
aren’t on the dining plan or if you miss the dining plan cutoff
time. For example - Mama Flora’s at GRADV is not park-owned so
none of their offerings are on the plan and you can’t use your
discount there. When I was at SFNE on Easter I was able to use
my discount to try one of their ginormous Thrill Shakes at
Coaster Creamery - depending on your appetite those things might
require sharing with a second person - they’re HUGE!
However, this discount cannot be used towards the “upcharge”
       dining plan offerings.

Maybe it’s an SFNE thing but I have read that the member
discount does apply for the up-charges at Great Adventure. You
just have to get them to scan your card twice.

My guess is it depends on the location but if they are promising
you a discount on food it should discount the up-charge since
       its towards food.

From what I’ve heard, the member discount is not supposed to
apply to dining plan upcharges, as I stated in my post. Those
who were able to get it at GRADV got lucky. This info came from
       the GRADV Connoisseurs FB page.
