I think this is a very cool expansion I really like the theming
of the family rides and the Dragon Flyer coaster looks like a
lot of fun.I hope more parks get those family suspended
coasters.

They should put some Styrofoam to quiet Thunderhead down (Gold
Striker does this due to being in a residential area, this is
just to make Wildwood Grove more scenic and make at quiet area
in the park.
Both Josh and I like how SeaWorld has been trying to cater to
families with children on the Autism Spectrum, and Wildwood
Grove would be the perfect place in Dollywood to add quiet rooms
(and Craftsmen Valley near Owen's Farm, but not too close to
Barnstormer, since it is a pretty big park).
P.S. I was also thinking of adding a train station in Wildwood
Grove.

I wouldn't be surprised if the park is looking into this.

Im already hearing lightning rod is having issues. I can't
believe that if LR is down on my visit it will be 4 straight
years the coaster is down in june! :(

With Casey being a flight attendant, getting me free flights, we
were looking at a summer quick flight from Bradley into
Knoxville, spend the day at Dollywood, finally ride LR and fly
home that night. If LR is again being undependable we will have
to rethink that trip. We got stoned by LR a couple of years ago
and were not happy but AJ must have the record for most trips to
DW without a LR ride!!

I can see how that would be frustrating. I guess any desire to
go would be based on how much you want to experience the new
area.

I was able to ride it in August 2016, it was an hour and a half
wait and went there first thing (got there maybe an hour after
opening tbh)
