Corona VIRUS for Six Flags

I am sure a lot of people have received this email, but for
those who have not here is the email:
Coronavirus Update
A note to our guests about the Coronavirus from CEO Mike Spanos
Dear Valued Guests,
The top priority at Six Flags is the safety and the well-being
of our guests and team members. Regardless of the environment,
this is our top priority every day. We also recognize and
understand that you all have concerns about the coronavirus;
therefore, I personally want to update you on everything that we
are doing to provide a safe environment for you, your family,
and our team members.
First, we are closely monitoring the latest developments and
following the guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Additionally, we have hired a highly regarded infectious disease
specialist with more than 30 years of experience as an advisor
for this situation.
Second, we are taking several actions to help you feel confident
about your health and safety while you are in our parks. We have
significantly enhanced our cleaning and sanitation efforts on
all guest and employee touch points; additionally, we are
providing an abundance of anti-bacterial soap in all
hand-washing stations, and have placed dozens of alcohol-based
hand sanitizers throughout all areas of the parks. Finally, we
are frequently cleaning and disinfecting all ride vehicles,
queue lines, restrooms, food locations, and employee break
areas.
In addition to these actions, we have increased hygiene signage
throughout our parks and are strongly encouraging guests and
employees to practice good hygiene with frequent and rigorous
hand washing. We are asking employees who are sick to stay home.
If anyone has a fever or becomes sick while at work, we will
immediately release them to see their medical provider.
We hope that these measures give you confidence that we are
taking the necessary precautions in this evolving situation. We
remain committed to providing you and your family with friendly,
clean, fast, and safe service.
For additional information about COVID-19, please read the
latest report from the Centers for Disease Control at
www.cdc.gov, or your local health department website.
On behalf of everyone at Six Flags, thank you for your trust in
us. I look forward to seeing you out in our parks.
Best regards,
Mike Spanos

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
What do you guys think is going to happen until this get under
control?
I am not sure what is going to happen due to the World Health
organization just said the Corona Virus is a pandemic , but I
know myself will still be going to the parks regardless!

Well you can go to the parks but if this doesn't abate soon you
will be in an empty parking lot with the park closed.

Today people should have received 2 emails.
Here is Email # 1:Coronavirus Update
A note to our Pass Holders and Members about the Coronavirus
from CEO Mike Spanos
Dear Valued Guests,
The top priority at Six Flags is the safety and well-being of
our guests and team members. We continue to monitor and follow
the guidance of federal, state, and local officials regarding
COVID-19. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we
all work through this challenging situation.
At this time, shelter-in-place mandates are in effect throughout
the United States, Mexico, and Canada; therefore, we are
delaying the openings for Six Flags New England until mid-May,
or as soon as possible thereafter.
This situation remains fluid. We will adjust as circumstances
evolve and communicate to you any changes in our operating
status. We remain committed to providing you and your family
with a friendly, clean, fast, and safe experience, and we look
forward to welcoming you back into our parks very soon.
If you are a Season Pass Holder or Member please visit the
park's COVID-19 Update Page for more information about what we
will be doing to ensure you get full value for your investment
in Six Flags.
For additional information about COVID-19, please read the
latest report from the Centers for Disease Control at

EMAIL #2:
Membership Update
Park operations are suspended until mid-May, but we have a plan
to make it up to you.
Dear Joshua:
Due to the COVID-19 situation it looks like we are not going to
be able to open the parks on our original schedule. To ensure
the safety of our guests and Team Members, we are now looking at
a mid-May opening date, or as soon as possible thereafter.
We've come up with a plan to make it up to you. You are among
our most important guests, and it is our intention to ensure
that you receive much more than your money's worth from your Six
Flags Membership.
First off, we are going to give you one month of Membership for
each month we are closed (rounded up to the nearest month).
These months will automatically be added to the very end of your
Membership.
In addition to replacing the months that you lost, we're also
going to give you special bonus benefits for the rest of the
2020 season.
With your 2020 bonus benefits, you'll get (FREE):
One Extra Skip the Ride Line Ticket Every Visit
Triple Reward Points Every Visit
One Golden Ticket valid any time in 2020
To top it off, we'll be hosting special events and adding free
perks for you when the park re-opens.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please
do not hesitate to contact us online, or by calling the Six
Flags Membership Service Center at 817-607-6105.
Thanks again for being a Member. Take care of yourselves, and we
really do look forward to seeing you at the park again soon.
Best regards,
Mark Kupferman
Vice President, Membership

Members seem to be getting the better end of the deal. Unless
you live in an area where the park opens year-round adding days
onto the end of the year doesn't do you much good. but I'm glad
they are trying to do something.
I don't mind a mid-May opening with everything going on but hope
the states can lift the general work orders so that the parks
have time and opportunity to get the parks ready.
