A cautionary note tho: SidV and BobGuides are on OLD path (they
don`t play anymore), those guides can be used only for
inspiration on what kind and amount of troops to be used on a
certain camp if you intend to develop a guide on an adventure.
The paths generals walk on are different now (compared to when
Bob Guides and SidV`s guides were created) and that can result
in significant losses.
For safety any new player should use sticky guides posted in
this section:
HTML http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/forums/229-Adventure-Guides
HTML http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/forums/229-Adventure-Guides
The stickied guides are the most reliable, yet even those may
contain errors.
A good habit is to check a guide when you use it first time by
using
HTML http://settlersonlinesimulator.com/dso_kampfsimulator/en/
HTML http://settlersonlinesimulator.com/dso_kampfsimulator/en/
to
simulate battles and see if its result is the same as the guide
claims to be.
Personally I use
HTML http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/16332-Guide-Killste-Collected-Adventure-Guides-by-Various-Authors
HTML http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/16332-Guide-Killste-Collected-Adventure-Guides-by-Various-Authors<br
/>for most of the adventures and

HTML http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/18648-Guide-Athlan-s-Adventure-Diary<br
/>for Nords (

I also use the Killste guides.
I find them quite simple to use and the step by step way they
flow makes them really easy to understand.
Also when I was learning blocks they explained really well how
to without the complexities of timings.
