Hi from Dorset

Hi from Dorset,
I have been lurking for a while, have even turned up to a few
events and know a few folks from the forum too. So I thought it
high time that I joined up and posted :-)
I have a S2a V8 3.5 that I rebuilt with my Dad and good friend
@viamphie way back in 2003/4. Now on a 2nd minor rebuild after
being laid up for a decade (long story but I had another V8 to
play in and so never got around to fixing her). Currently
looking to get back on the road for spring and hopefully along
to a few more events. Banana
I'm married with 2 beautiful girls and 2 mad labradors , with
more projects started than finished, and live out in the sticks
in Dorset. dgs
oh...and here's my landy :-)

Best,
Zin

Cheers folks. Yep getting the V8 on the road. Just ordered a
few more parts to get her running. Some welding to do, bit of
wiring and getting the carbs / engine running nicely. Then its
down to cosmetics. Fingers crossed back up and running by early
spring!

Good to see you here again Zin.
Check out the need/wanted sections if you need bits. There’s
always someone with a few sheds worth of tat.
I think Puddlejumper and Gossamer have enough bits between them
to ensure the survival of Solihull spares.

Some pics of the progress...getting closer. A lot of hard winter
work plus 2 x workshop days from Viamphie and Bugsy and Whinger
is finally moving! Lots to do, but moving.
