6ft 6" height barrier at Apedales main entrance

I have just sent out an email to all campers regarding the 6ft
6" height barrier at Apedales main entrance - the email contains
the mobile phone number you need
There is a 6ft 6” height barrier at the main entrance to Apedale
and we have now been asked to keep it locked throughout the
weekend.
Luckily, there is an alternative route into the Apedale site to
a back gate with no height barrier – it just needs a code. the
email has the map attached.
FRIDAY ARRIVALS
If you are arriving on Friday and won’t be able to get under the
height barrier, please use the alternative route and ring/text
the mobile number for the gate code.
Just a reminder that no-one will be allowed on the camping field
before 12 noon. However, you are welcome to arrive before then
and help with the setting up 😊
SATURDAY and SUNDAY ARRIVALS BEFORE 10am
If you are arriving before 10am on Saturday or Sunday and won’t
be able to get under the height barrier, please use the
alternative route and ring/text the mobile number for the gate
code.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY ARRIVALS AFTER 10am
We will be given a key so we can open and close it from 10am to
5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
There should be volunteers stationed at the height barrier
between 10am and 5pm. If you arrive, can’t get under the height
barrier and there is no-one there, please ring/text the mobile
number. Someone will come with the key (or you can walk down and
get the key for yourself.) You may have to wait for a few
minutes because the height barrier is about half a mile from the
show field.
(NB we need lots of you to volunteer to be a barrier monitor –
if we have lots of volunteers you will only need to there for a
short while)
