Ode to Jekyll - Guilty Pleasures of V8 Ownership

After Jekyll woke up from 3 years of forced hibernation, it was
time to shoot some video to capture that sound RCK
Here's a compilation of vids showing just that - as I've had
enough comments that the 'shitty classical background noise'
needs to go, I also made a de-Vivaldi'ed video that I will post

Tis a beautiful thing, isn't it. I don't even care is much my
carbed 3.9 burns, it's worth every penny! I'll maybe have to do
a little video myself some point...

I agree, there is no finer thing than a V8 in a swb Land Rover.

Yep. I'm definitely thinking of keeping the V8 in my 1958
'Lightweight' now

Tell the friend to look for a Boxer manifold, it's a thing of
beauty RCK

It's difficult to tune it, it can wander out of tune every
2000-3000 miles, the linkages are a nightmare and the engine bay
looks as if an octopuss died there because of all the hoses.
What's more to ask? stg
