We usually have it in and around Alston, Cumbria as it seems to
get regular and decent depth of snow
Some of the drifting can be over six feet deep in places and a
normal level of a few inches plus
Can and no doubt will be short notice as the snow only appears
when it feels like it and we need a good few days of hard frost
to make it stick
It will be bitterly cold and windy ( normal cumbrian) and there
is no guarantee on the number of lanes we can get done ( lack of
talent moments)
If enough people are interested we could possibly organise some
rough camping and several fire pits
It's usually a good laugh but bloody hard work, lots of digging
and winches, and that's just for me ( no talent)

Well, being (as I am) from 250 miles nearer the equator, it
might be my only shot at seeing any decent snow
Best refit the hardtop then. Maybe add some insulation. Oh, and
fix the heater fan....
