       Very useful thread, I plan to have a week of "Wild Camping"
       before the LRSOC national rally at Kelso.  The advice here is
       much appreciated.

       Prof, you are welcome any time. No firm dates for an event yet,
       probably tie it in with a rerun of my s2c thing but if the
       collective wanted to suggest a date, weekend or week I'd be
       happy to go along with that. For those wanting to make more of a
       "thing" of it there is the Sir Walter Scott steamer a couple of
       miles away, Stirling and Edinburgh Castles, Safari Park for the
       kids, all sorts on top of some off road stuff.
