Tour RUMORS (while we wait for real news)

A tour in 2015? Or maybe late 2014? West Coast dates? A week
of Atlanta shows? HolyToledo's block party appearance?

I read somewhere that Bob will start the old bob.com forum back
up, make a dvd, tour the US for a year, do a meet and greet,
reissue all his old albums, and play Pine Knob.

I REALLY do remember reading Don Brewer saying Bob would be
touring November into January. Sounds about right based on album
release date.

I've heard November, too, but just as a guess - nothing
substantiated. I wonder how different the tour will be since
he's promoting new material this time? Will he change it up, or
keep the same standards? I missed the FTP tour, but he didn't
really add much new stuff then, did he?

He played 4or 5 new songs as I remembered people sitting down
and not getting into them. I remember Nov 8th 2006 his first
show back at Van Andel Arena , Grand Rapids..............for the
FTP tour. It was my 50th b-day, us and 5 other couples rented a
limo to take us to the show and drop us back at each couples
homes. What a great time. It was surreal to say the least, to
see BOB SEGER back on stage again (I had only seen him twice
before during the mid to late 70's) Love that album.....I
listened to it daily.. Knew all the words....what a great time.
We went to three shows on the FTP tour and three on the RRNF
tour. I hope everyone gets the new CD and listens and shows
some appreciation on this next tour.

It's so much more fun to hear songs you know, so I understand
people getting antsy if there is a lot of material they haven't
heard before. (Not us, of course - but "normal" fans! lol) I'm
glad we're getting the cd first so that by the time tour starts,
we'll be able to join in the choir of 10,000 back-up singers.

I believe he sang Face the Promise, Wreck This Heart and Wait
for Me. Not sure if there were others. We had a great time!
Some guy behind us was mad because we didn't sit down, so he got
the usher to "talk" to us. He just laughed and told us to have
a good time! He agreed with us - how the hell do you sit at a
Seger concert???

Those are the 3 songs I remember from the Face the Promise Tour,
as well. I also remember country singer Eric Church being Bob's
opening act. He was a good opening act!
