Morning all,
Here we are again with another selection of songs for this week.
I hope everyone is still keeping well and following Boris’ clear
as mud guidelines.😁. Poor guy, I wouldn’t wish his job
on anyone. Anyway, keep happy, and I’m looking forward to
seeing you all on Thursday. If you have any requests then
please let us know.
Here goes.
Rollin In My Sweet Baby’s Arms. Everyone can join in this.
Baby Face/Pretty Baby. Enjoy yourselves with this.
Freight Train. Again, listen out for the “Train whistle”
Dedicated Follower of Fashion. Tricky beginning.
Even the bad times are good. Mind the Bm. Stretch those
fingers. As Mr. Motivator might say.
Fly Me to the Moon. Some different chords. But easy ones.
Folsom Prison Blues. Back to the train whistle.
I Walk the Line. I know, another Johnny Cash.
Now a couple of new ones again
Burning Bridges.
Obladi Oblada.
That’s it for now. Don’t forget to request any songs.(Not
Rawhide or Ghostriders PLEASE) 😁😁😁
Keep safe, keep smiling and keep strummin.

Hi folks, hope you are all keeping well
Does anyone know if there is any music shops doing deliveries
just now? I currently have a tuner that needs replaced tried
replacing the battery and nothing is happening.
Shall pop onto the meeting next week, things have been full on
at my end so haven't had time sadly.

Hello Ian. I think a few music shops would sell you a tuner on
line. Don’t know any in your area, but have you used the correct
battery? The battery might be the right size, but the numbers
are different. It will probably be
CR2032. Other than that I suggest trying to google any music
shops in your area.
Take care and stay safe. SUS.

smiling everyone. It’s what keeps us going. Cheers. Di x

You could order one from the following eBay site but it will
take two or three weeks to get to you. This is one of the sites
that I used to buy them from in bulk at £3 a time, looks like we
have inflation already. But still cheaper than any you will find
in UK shops. good quality too.

Morning all,
Here we are again, another week gone by, where does the time go?
It’s already coming towards the end of the month. ( No I can’t
believe it either). But here’s a gentle reminder that as well as
meeting on Zoom tomorrow 21/05/2020. There will be a Last
Tuesday of the Month next Tuesday for those who would like to
join us to try out some new songs. As before, the new songs
will be put onto the forum for you to download, as well as the
mp3. To give you some ideas of how they go. Hope you can join
us.
But here are this week’s selection for you to enjoy.
A Fool Such as I ( A light starter to wet the appetite)
Forever Autumn (not the same without the intro, but a lovely
one to play)
Karma Chameleon ( play through the Acapella part)
Putting on the Style. (Hope Dave brings his car horn, or Joe
and Pete might play bugle!) NEVER THOUGHT I’D SAY THAT!
🤭🤭🤭🤭
The Blackpool Belle. (Now we’re getting to the main course)
Ruby (Count-in after 1, 2, 1, 2, 3.)
Travelling Light (mind the intro)
Up On the Roof. ( I will keep practicing the singing till I get
it right)
Wagon Wheel. ( not too fast, we have to get the words in)
And then for dessert:-
Roaring Twenties Medley and the ladies will definitely win cos
I’m the only one singing😁😁😁
Well that’s it for now,
See you all on Thursday or on Tuesday if you can make it.
Keep safe, keep smiling and keep strummin
