A huge thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to attend
this even. Special thanks go to Ivan, who attended his first
gig, and John Taylor, who subbed as percussion. Well done!!!!
It was a bit of a challenge, with the background noise, and that
bloke on the PA, who “couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t know how to” turn
it off unless you got to the end of the song. A number of people
approached me to say they enjoyed our sets.
Thanks to everyone who helped with putting up and packing away
the gear.
The cakes were lovely. Like usual, SUS members cleaned up on the
tombola’s. Look like Christmas presents are sorted. :-*

Well I thought it was great afternoon, Val said she would let us
know how much cash they have raised.
The food was great, the bottle tombola was really good. Yes I
won a couple of bottles too ::)
I'm glad the wind changed, when we got there the barbaque was
just bieng fired up outside........With a couple of tyres and
was filling the hall with smoke!!
I gather the plant sale was good too.
Rew and Di did a stirling job keeping us all in check, Thanks.
As for the DJ, he did go up in my estimation when we saw him
walk across the hall with a squeeze box. The music from his pa
sounded great....................until I was reliably informed,
it was a tape and he wasn't playing his squeeze box!!!!!! -2
notches ;D
Thanks to everyone for the help with the PA kit too.
Ivan and John both sounded great, well done.
Cheers, Keith.

Hi Everyone,
I have been contacted this evening by Val, who was the organiser
of the church fete.
She asked me to pass on a massive thankyou to everyone who
played on Saturday. Also, that our performance was thouroughly
enjoyed.
Val also told me how Successful the day was...
They have raised to date................£3091 for the homeless.
Which is Terrific ;D ;D ;D
Well done again everyone, you all played a big part in helping
to raise that money.
Cheers, Keith.
