By: Keith Date: March 1, 2018, 9:23 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Hi Everyone,
We have been invited to play at the Spring Fayre at St. Martins
Church. (I think they have adopted us) :)
We could do with a few more volunteers for this gig, please
Check your diaries to see if you can make it??
Saturday, 5th May 2018.
St Martins, Dixon Street, Parkfields, Wolverhampton. WV2 2BG.
Once again we will be playing in the stunning church.
There will be many craft stalls to see in and around the church
and church hall.
The concert is to raise funds for the parish Nurse service and
church funds, which helps support local people.
We will be playing 2 sets of 45 minutes. Starting at 12pm.
During the interval app. 30 mins, we will be given Tea, coffee
and cakes ;D
Please let me know if you can play???
Thanks, Keith.
Strummers: Di & Joe, Dorothy, Rew, Keith, Julie, Jan & Jack,

Many thanks to the band who played today, we didn't get much of
an audience. I guess people had made a dash for the coast and
the good weather.
The tea and cakes were nice ;D
Gill the organiser has asked me to thank you all for your time
and effort today.
Don't forget we're playing there again on the 20th May for the
"Contact the elderly" afternoon tea party. We will be in the the
church hall for that gig. Which will be a bit warmer than the
church today ::)
Cheers, Keith.

Many thanks to Keith, Rew and everyone involved in the
organisation of the gig. It would be nice if you could order a
slightly higher temperature in the church the next time. Yes, it
was a pity there weren’t more people there but understandable I
suppose in view of the lovely weather.
Dorothy
