Despite the continued decline in sales of its smartphones, Sony
has finally made some adjustments to its Xperia range this year,
       most notably the 21:9-length-to-width display.
Sony is stepping up its focus on its flagship products, with
four new devices to follow, and at least three more in the
mid-market, according to new revelations. It is reported that
the four flagship products will be equipped with the Dragon 865
chipset, and support 5G network and some mid-range products are
expected to carry the upcoming Dragon 735 processor, it is said
that the Dragon 735 will also support 5G.
As early as June, early renderings and camera specifications for
Sony's new six-camera set were revealed. According to the new
revelations, the aircraft will be Sony's new flagship model in
2020, called the Xperia 0. It is reported that the device will
       support 5G, will be equipped with a variable F1.2 / 2.4 lens
48MP main sensor and the same F1.2 / 2.4 lens 12 MP auxiliary
       sensor. The remaining cameras include 20MP F / 2.4 sensors, 16
       MP F / 2.4 sensors, 8MP F / 2.4 sensors and 0.5MP ToF sensors,
which are understood to be likely to be released in IFA 2020.
There have also been rumors of an Xperia 3, which has been
positioned as the successor to Sony's compact Xperia series,
with a 21:9 display and an arced backshell design. New rumors
say the phone will support 5G networks, rear three-camera and
       QHD resolution.
The Xperia 1 is Sony's first flagship product for 2019, and next
year Sony will launch its successor, the Xperia 1.1, which is
understood to have a four-camera on the back and a 4K display on
the front. Xperia 5's successor, the Xperia 5.1, is also
expected to be released next year and is expected to be a
small-screen version of the Xperia 1.1, with the same four-lens
but with a QHD display. Xperia 1.1 and 5.1 are expected to be
       released around MWC 2020.
As for Sony's mid-range product line, there are rumors that the
successor to the Xperia 10 will be the Xperia 10.1, which will
support 5G. On the other hand, the Xperia 10 Plus is expected to
be updated to Xperia 9.1 and is expected to receive 5G support.
