       Covanellis Renewable Energy Plan
By: Covanese Republic Date: November 10, 2014, 2:08 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Covanellis has a plan for complete energy sufficiency and
renewability (from the get-go), in which multiple renewable
energy sources will be used to provide electricity for the
people of Covanellis. We are currently working on designing a
new energy device, which is still top secret (got to get it
patented [globally] before it can be officially announced to
       non-MCCC members on these forums).
Our secondary source of energy will be solar energy, as we will
be based in the Autralian Outback, and there is really no sun
shortage there. We will line the roofs of buildings in
Covanellis with solar panels and harvest as much sun as possible
with them, and with a (hoped-for) population of 100,000 people,
we should be able to become completely self-sustainable
       (energy-wise) with relative ease.
What are the renewable energy plans of other micronations? Are
there any Micronations that don't plan to be completely
       renewable?

Well, the Environmental Agency and Department of Energy and
Water have both been very mute on this; I have considered fusion
as an energy resource which isn't necessarily renewable, but
that has enough fuel for the next few millions of years without
substantial pollution (as far as I know, Deuterium-Tritium
fusion doesn't produce much radioactive waste, if any).
But these ideas are for the distant future.
       Sincerely,
       Gabriel N. Pelger
