       Winter 21/22 - Xmas / New Year break

       I hope everyone had an enjoyable Xmas
       A reminder that the league restart has been put back from
       Tuesday 4th to 11th January.
       All teams will resume on 11/1/22 with the scheduled fixtures as
       published in the SDPL Handbook for that date (Round 13).
       NB. The postponed fixtures scheduled for 4/1/22 (Round 12) will
       all be moved to Tuesday 15/3/22.  Stan Cornwall Semi Finals
       moved to Thursday 17th March.
       Open Singles last 32 round matches remain scheduled for Thursday
       6/1/22 at home venues (see competitions section for details).
       However there is no obligation on players to play on this date
       provided they give their opponent at least 24 hours notice,
       though the earliest possible contact is recommended. Matches
       deferred in this way should be notified to the league
       beforehand. It will then be the players responsibility to advise
       the league of the rescheduled date and advise results in the
       normal way.
       All last 32 matches must be played no later than 28th January.
       All the best to everyone for the remainder of what we hope will
       remain a largely trouble free season.
