DEL CURWOOD MASTERS COMPETITION
£5 ENTRY FEE - OVER 40S ONLY
Competition to be played down to four on one night TUESDAY 10th
MAY
AT RAYLEIGH LANES.
LAST FOUR TO BE PLAYED ON ONE OF THE DESIGNATED SDPL FINALS DAYS
(TBA).
PLAYERS Will BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE TO ENSURE A
PROMPT 7:20 DRAW ON THE NIGHT
PLAYERS RUNNING LATE MUST CONTACT TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE IN THE
DRAW

DEL CURWOOD MASTERS COMPETITION
We have had a record number of payed entries (42 - entries
listed above) for this Masters Over 40s competition.
Due to the high number the intention will be to play down to the
QF's next TUESDAY 10th MAY at RAYLEIGH SPORTS BAR.
No further entries can be accepted on the night as the draw will
have been completed in advance in order for games to commence
promptly at 7pm. Players are therefore asked to attend early if
possible but will not be penalised provided they attend by
7:30pm latest.
Quarter Finals will be played down to a winner on Sunday 26th
June a designated SDPL FINALS day. Availability will however be
confirmed with qualifiers next week.
Draw will be posted on here shortly. Players running late on the
night should let me know to avoid the risk of opponents being
given a bye.

A really enjoyable and entertaining night of pool went ahead as
planned at Rayleigh Sports Bar last Tuesday 10th May. An
excellent entry with 39 players actually taking part on the

Semis & Final of this years competition went ahead as scheduled
on Sunday 26th June at Rayleigh Sports
Congratulations to the 21/22 Winner Darren Ditzel (Felsons)
Results on the day were as follows:
Gwyn Jones (Benfleet Rileys) beat Darren Baines (RL Sports)
3-0
Darren Ditzel (Felsons) beat Dave Preedy (Suppers
Ready) 3-1
Final: Darren Ditzel Won 4-1 v Gwyn Jones
Another entertaining day of pool. Trophies & prize monies to be
given out at the SDPL Presentation Night on Friday 2nd
September.
