85s HANDICAP COMPETITION (Divisional start in brackets)
Standard league playing rules apply with the following
exceptions:
Lag for break as usual but at least four balls must be driven to
a cushion to constitute a legal break (penalty as per fouls
below);
Breaks will consist of 2 visits so where a ball is not potted
one more shot will carry;
A player potting the last ball of the rack will continue the
break from where the white ball comes to rest. Where it is not
possible to rack balls using the triangle the white can be moved
to break from anywhere behind the baulk line;
All fouls will result in the opposing player getting 3 points
who may then move the white ball to anywhere on the table to
continue (1 visit only);
Where a foul occurs at the same time a ball is potted the player
concerned DOES NOT get a point for that ball;
An additional foul is when a ball is driven to the same cushion
for the 4th time in a row without anything else hitting a
cushion, penalty as above;
Matches are a race to 85 with players starting on their handicap
score shown below in brackets.

APRIL
It is upto players to make contact to agree an alternative date
where necessary and the home players responsibility to ensure
venues are aware of agreed dates and to book tables if
necessary.
IF HOME PLAYERS ARE UNABLE TO AGREE FREE PLAY WITH THEIR VENUE
THEN DUE TO THE POTENTIAL NUMBER OF FRAMES INVOLVED THE COST
SHOULD BE SHARED BETWEEN BOTH PLAYERS.
A further last 16 draw will be made and matches played on a date
to be advised / agreed with players[/u]
[NB. due to a clash with a darts competition at Lanes Sports
these matches CANNOT NOW be played on 26/4 as scheduled in the
handbook].

[NB. These games are having to be arranged seperately due to
Felsons continued involvement in an SCC Semi on 21/4. Players to
make contact to agree date and advise league and book tables at
venue].
ALL LAST 16 MATCHES AND BEYOND WILL BE FREE PLAY. No further
draws will be made with matches played down to the final
Semi Finals / Final to be played on one the SDPL Finals Days to
be advised.
