UPDATE 25TH OCTOBER:
Due to a late withdrawal we have reverted back to 64 entries as
above allowing for a straight 1st round draw to be played at
Home venues Bo5 frames on or before Thursday 2nd December.
The 1st round draw (64) will be posted on this forum w/c 1/11.
The sole preliminary round game advised previously will not now
be necessary.

Please note that in addition to the main competition the league
as a trial this season will add £100 to the prize pot - £50
going to both the best placed Div 1 and Div 2 player (subject to
reaching the last 16 stage). A play off will be held as
necessary if players from the same division go out at the same
stage. It is hoped this will encourage more entries from the
lower divisions. All entry fees will still be returned in prize
money as in previous seasons. £5 entry fees to Steve Shannon
please no later than Sunday 17th October.

Scheduled date Thursday 6th January but players can by mutual

Open Singles 2022
You will recall that in addition to the main competition the
league added a £100 prize pot - £50 going to both the best
placed Div 1 and Div 2 player (subject to reaching the last 16
stage).
A play off was necessary in Division 1 which was played last
Thursday between:
Jon Stevens (Trinity) who beat Ron Kirby (Benfleet Social) 4-2
Division 2 there was an outright winner Jamie Ashcroft (Hanks)
Congratulations to both players who will each receive £50 at the
league presentation night.
Hopefully this will become a regular feature for the competition
to encourage increased participation from the lower divisions to
be confirmed at this years AGM (Tuesday 12th July)
