Matches to be decided by a Bo9 match with all players playing
each other over one frame. Result sheets will be provided.
Teams can agree to a rescheduled date provided matches are
played no later than Thurs 18th November. Such changes must be
advised in advance to me as competition organiser.
Results to be sent to me please by What's App with a picture of
the results sheet within 48 hours of completion (07711 905198).
Last 16 consisting of prelim winners and team byes shown above
will be played at Rayleigh Sports Bar on Thursday 25th November
(fixed date). Draw will be made on the night.

night at Rayleigh Lanes Sports.

Well done to everyone that took part and congratulations to
those that battled through on the night.
Lack of time prevented the Semis being played as intended and
have now been rescheduled for Thursday 3rd March at Lanes
Sports. The Final will be played on the same night. Results will
be posted here in due course.
Finally, thanks to Martin "Baloo" Attwood for taking charge on
the night.

Could we also play the final on this date?
For the finalists we know everyone is available and with a
maximum of 18 frames the same as a normal night so unlikely to
be a late finish.
It also means that for the Finals Day there are 6 less people to
worry about their availability, it would give you less games to
referee on Finals day and less matches to play so more likely
not to have a late finish for everyone involved.
Can you consider this?

Hi Glen
If I understand your suggestion correctly I've no problem
playing Semi's & Final together but the problem will be getting
both Semi's (12 players) who are available to play on the same
night. To lessen the obvious problem is why Baloo agreed with
players on the night to at least sort their respective Semi's
and the league would sort Final as part of the Finals Day/s as
usual. We're in the middle of competitions in addition to league
organisation so would need to leave it with players to see if
playing both Semi's on the same night is feasible. If you can
agree a date then let me know and I'll ensure the league
provides an official / referee on the night. If need be happy to
follow this up by a quick chat 07711 905198. Many thanks for the

Hi Pete, my understanding is that it has already been agreed by
Baloo with all four teams to play the semi-finals on Tuesday
11th Jan.
My thinking is that is will be easier all round if we agree to
play the final straight afterwards on the same night.
Can you have a quick chat with Baloo but as all 12 players play
in for Prem Teams and 12 Jan is a free night in the Prem is
seems like a good option.

Hi Glen
Best to take this off line as its probably a bit of left hand
right hand going on. As I say I've no problem for Semi's / Final
being played on the same night if Captains can agree a date. As
for the 11th unless there has been a change Desperadoes already
have a rescheduled league fixture v BBU arranged which would
make this option unworkable. Happy to chat off line but as I say
needs Captains rather than league to make this happen cheers

SEMI FINALS AND FINAL WILL BE PLAYED AT LANES SPORTS BAR ON
THURSDAY 3rd MARCH {Fixed Date)

SPORTS BAR TONIGHT ((Thursday 3rd March}
Excellent night with a great deal of good quality pool including
some clinical finishing. Results were as follows:
