2021-22 STAN CORNWALL CUP

The Round 1 draw was made at the Captain's Meeting on Tuesday
14th September
ROUND 1 - to be played Tuesday 2nd November at the home team's
venue
Woodcutters Arms 0-4 More By Luck

Essex Turks 2-4 Rising Starrs
Kings of the Castle 1-4 Felsons
Pickpockets 2-4 Nice Rack

Venue details are in the league handbooks.
Results to be sent to the Match Secretary as per a standard
league match.
Please note that it's the responsibility of the home team to
ensure that the venue is aware of the fixture and that food is
provided as per a standard league match.
Matches must go ahead if both teams can field at least four
players, but if the match needs to be rescheduled then at least
24 hours' notice must be given and a date agreed with the Match
Secretary.

Round 2 draw (last 16) was completed at league fixture between
Trinity & Walnut Nutters this Tuesday. Round 1 results listed in
the previous post.
ROUND 2 - to be played Thursday 13th January at the home team's
venue

games at Ecko Sports, Thornford Gardens]
Venue details are in league handbooks.
Results to be sent to Andy Gilbert, Match Secretary as per a
standard league match.
Please note it's the responsibility of the home team to ensure
that the venue is aware of the fixture and that refreshments are
provided as per a normal league match.
Matches can be played ahead of the scheduled date if agreed by
both team Captains. Fixtures must go ahead if both teams can
field at least four players. In the event of a match needing to
be rescheduled for any reason then at least 24 hours' notice
must be given and a revised date agreed with the Match
Secretary.

Re SCC latest draw. More by Luck and Felsons are both drawn at
home but play on the same table!

Ian, a case of "luck of the draw" and something for you Captains
to sort. As your venue has multiple tables you can agree between
you to switch for the cup or else who plays on the designated
night and who sorts an alternative date with the opposing capt &
Match Secretary. Unfortunately the free Prem match week on the
Tuesday before (11th) is no good as MBL already have a
rescheduled league match that day. Cup QF's not until 10th Feb
so you do have some leeway. Will leave you and Stu to come to an
amicable arrangement!! Cheers Pete

ROUND 3 (QUARTER FINALS} - to be played Thursday 10th February
at the Lanes Sports Bar Rayleigh.
QF Draw - matches to be played on this fixed date as follows:
Benfleet Rileys 3-4 More by Luck (Table 1)
Rising Starrs 4-1 The Firm (3)
Felsons 4-1 RL Sports (6)
RL Lions 4-2 Nice Rack (4)
Matches to start at the usual time 7:30pm.
Results cards to be forwarded to Andy Gilbert Match Secretary in
the normal way as for league fixtures.
Round 2 (last 16) results listed in previous post.
