2019/20 Stan Cornwall Cup - Round 1 Draw & Results

The Round 1 draw was made at random at the Captain's Evening.
ROUND 1 MATCHES - to be played Thursday 9th January 2020 at the
home team's venue

Big Balls Up 4-1 The Firm
Benfleet Flyers 4-1 Misfits
Legion Legends w/o v Outlaws
Benfleet Rileys 4-2 Windermere
Walnut Whips v BYE (Whose Round? were withdrew from the
League)
Starr Desperados w/o v Pool The Udder One
Tri Nightly v w/o Rayleigh Lanes Lions
River Rebels w/o v Rose & Crown
Del's Boys 4-1 Pickpockets
Felsons 4-1 The Essex Turks

Venue details are in the league handbooks.
Results to be sent to the Match Secretary as per a standard
league match.
Please note that it's the responsibility of the home team to
ensure that the venue is aware of the fixture and that food is
provided as per a standard league match.
Matches must go ahead if both teams can field at least four
players, but if the match needs to be rescheduled then at least
24 hours' notice must be given and a date agreed with the Match
Secretary.
Round 2 will be played on Thursday 30th January at Rayleigh
Lanes

Committee update -
Due to ongoing Covid restrictions completion of the Stan
Cornwell Semi's and Final remain 'on hold'.
It is still the intention to complete the 19/20 competition but
only when circumstances change which make it safe to do so.
Team Captains will continue to be kept updated as to how / when
this KO Competition will resume.

The 2019/20 Stan Cornwall Cup finally came to a conclusion on
17th August. Congratulations go to River Rebels who beat the
Felsons 4-2.
Match results (River Rebels player in bold):-
