       belated thanks to eddie taylor
       who went round every peg at the end of last week on alder with
       his medieval 'pikes and billhooks' to cut away rushes round the
       stages etc etc
       a totally sterling and mainly thankless job by a complete
       clubman
       no - he didn't pay me to say this as i had never met him before
       .... but what a great effort !!!!!
       i had a go with the giant alloy rake on willow this morning  -
       which i assume is eddie's handiwork  ?
