I find that I am more careful in my purchases. Before I'd follow
every fad and new line. Now I'm more careful - I ask do I really
need it, now often will I use it. And as to paper lines - I
don't go nuts because I've found that after one or two and okay
maybe 3 pages I'm done - unless I'm making an album.
However I do love new stuff. I'm just cautious..

I know I try to not go crazy the scrapbook store near us has
cute paper but it is normally like $0.75 to a dollar so I have
to compromise and get my paper at Micheals normally only $0.25
per piece of paper.

I haven't been buying much either, but not because of the
economy. LOL it's because I have so much I need to use what I
have, still buy the basics.

I stopped buying a lot a while ago, no because of the economy
but because I have so much and my scrapping mojo is so little
these days.

Yes. Well, not really.
I don't have a job, so I'm not buying much new stuff. BUT, I
have enough stuff to own my own store, so I can scrap without
having to buy anything.

Sounds like we're all in the same boat, we have a lot of stuff!!
I haven't been buying much simply because I don't know what's
new out there. The last board I was on had a store and she
showed us all the new stuff. Guess I'm too lazy to search....

I am really trying to use what I have and am buying only
specific things that I need for a specific lo, like papers or
embellies.

not really. i buy most of my stuff on clearance racks, so the
price is usually pretty good to be begin with. other than
adhesives, I really don't buy too much.
