We had Cornflakes (sometimes with bananas), or Raisin Bran, or
Chex - I think corn (?) - these I still have from time to time
Dad loved shredded wheat - that was a big YUCKO to me.
I have never liked the sugary cereals at all. About 20 years
ago I bot one of those variety packs with the little boxes in
them (Do they still make those?)
And I trying Frosted Flakes.... I mean it supposed to "... b ...
e .... GREAT!"
I couldn't eat it.
I eat Crisp-x and get skeptical from time to time.....

We were cereal kids cuz back in the day, it was cheap for a
large family. I remember Honeycombs being my fave. But I don't
eat them anymore cuz no one but me likes them.

I didn't like cold cereal, just oatmeal. But now that I have
found almond milk I like honey nut chexs.

cream of wheat was my favorite especially with some brown sugar
and yes i will crave it now and then...

OMG Resa, I haven't thought of Honeycomb in years and years,
that used to be one of my moms favorites, so it was often in our
cupboards. My mom grew up eating hot cereal and though she
didn't hate it, she said she had had way too much of it, so she
never insisted on our eating it, though it was an option for
those who wanted it (that was never me ... I couldn't even
swallow the stuff, still can't). Do they still make honeycomb?
