Do you do anything special for St. Patrick's Day?
My husband is part Irish, so he makes a big deal of it. They
did things when they were little. I guess a leprechaun would
come at night and cause a little mayhem. We have not done
anything but wear green for the day.

My MIL taught me how to make the best corned beef and cabbage so
we do it for all our friends every year. We may not do it on the
exact day, but we get it done. Its one of my favorite comfort
       foods.

Not usually, but since Natalie had to do a family tree at home,
and she is a pure mutt. Stan's dad was half Irish, 1/4 German,
& 1/4 Dutch, his mom was Lebanese and me well I'm a pure bread
first generation Cuban, mom and Dad both are Spaniards.
Now she is making her father celebrate his Irish Culture. But
wait, we have to Celebrate every Culture....She is too funny,
guess which one is my favorite????? :o ;D :D it's has to do
with lots and lots of beer!!!!!!!!

Milie ... you could send "kiwi fruit" or "green grapes", "green
apple slices" , or how about celery sticks, or green pea salad,
no coloring in any of those.
My Fathers family is English and Irish ... we have always just
celebrated with Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner, it's so
yummy ... and the day after I make corned beef hash with all my
leftovers (minus the cabbage). Sometimes in the morning we have
bagels with cream cheese and green onions ... you have to get
       that green in somewhere. LOL
Lynn, how do you make your corned beef?

Yep!! But it all surrounds food, LOL!!!
Made my Irish soda bread today.
Hubby is off to pick up the fixings for the corned beef and
       cabbage meal.
I love that every time I buy one, I get stopped in the store and
asked how you make it, LOL!!!!
