       March Tech E

       I know it's April! I didn't get March's on, so I decided to do
       it anyway! This tech e is weaving. I have a 2 pg layout and an
       Easter basket idea. Have fun. Do anything with weaving. It
       doesn't have to be like my page. It's the technique!
       To weave a page: Cut six 1" printed strips and six 1" solid
       strips. (Can use all prints or solids). Lay one of the printed
       strips across the top of each page. Lay the solid strips
       vertically across both pages 1" apart, tucking every other one
       under top printed strip. Glue the top printed strip and the
       vertical strips down. Now you can weave the printed strips
       through the solid verticals without them moving. Place 1" apart
       and glue as you go. Glue bottom of vertical strips.
       Easter Basket: Use same technique. Weave and glue 1/2" strips to
       a scrap 10"x7" piece of paper. Draw the bottom of a basket onto
       the woven page. Cut out. Glue down edges. Glue a 1/2" strip
       across the top and bottom of your basket. Make a handle.
