I learned some from my Mom, she is an old school cook - bit of
this and pinch of that. Took Home Ec in High School which
helped in the areas she didn't teach me. Rest was trial and
error with a lot of notes made in my cookbooks.

I learned from my grandma and mom, but mostly from grandma she
had me in the kitchen with her all the time. The rest cookbooks
       and tv shows now.

Helping mom and grandma in the kitchen! And then some on my
own.. I watch a lot of Food Network, and love to try new
recipes.. my dad always thought it was strange.. and even when
I'd give mom a new recipe to try she wouldn't try it ::)
because of HIM.. but I cook little like mom now.. even though
       some things are similar...

I always watched my mom while I was growing up ... she was
always in the kitchen, I was the youngest and always wanted to
be with her. She never wrote recipes down, but she made them
over and over again so I picked them up in my head and then when
I began cooking on my own, I found those recipes coming through,
some of them just the way she made them, some with changes, but
I owe my cooking skills to my beautiful mom.

My Mom, Grandmas, my MIL, my dh's grandma, and trial and error.
I love to cook, but have to be in the mood.I have become quite a
slacker since DH passed, sometimes I just have toast and yogurt
for the evening meal, one saucer and one bowl. It's quite hard to
cook for one and not have a lot of left overs. I love when the
kids come and want to eat the old family favorites.

My gram taught me the basics. And the rest from cookbooks and
       watching others.

I'm not a great cook, but my mom taught me some and I also took
Home Eco. class in High School.
