HOW LONG TO YOU KEEP YOUR S/B PAPERS? I.E. SCRAPS AND OLDER
PAPERS ETC....

I have a bunch of papers most especially from kits that after I
subscribed I thought - what was I thinking. lol!!! I have a TON
of old basic grey. I'm trying to get my stash of papers down to
the "basket" that I use to flip through. I also keep scraps in a
separate basket to flip through instead of having them divided
up in files by mfg. I like the system - I just want to get all
the papers in one spot.
What do you do with papers you want to purge? I don't know of
anyone I can "donate" them to.

Lynn just send that Basic Grey my way......
I have been keeping most of mine and using it because I haven't
been able to buy much. I sometimes pass it to relatives that
scrap....But I love paper and I just have a hard time letting it
go lol....

I keep just about all my papers, unless they are a big floral or
a big design. Those I donate when my church has a crop or give
to one of my daughters.

I happily accept any unloved papers, supplies....
I keep them until I use them..... I scrap ALOT.

I give them to those who want them. I need to do my yearly
purge.
I love your idea of putting them in a basket Lynn, my system
does not work, I never use my scraps.

keep whole sheets until I use them.
scraps have to be at least 2 inches square or I toss them under
the label that they are TOO SMALL to do anything with.
lynn,
as a teacher, I know schools always need paper for art and craft
corners in the classroom.
Donate to an elementary school. And if you donate A LOT, it's
tax deductible.
I cleaned out my stash about 4 years ago cuz it was
overwhelming. I took everything to my neighborhood school and
asked if they wanted any of it.
they took every last dern button and bobbin I brought up. Then
they sent me a statement thanking me and sent me a donation slip
to use for tax purposes.

TOO long! Mainly because I use them to make a card set for my
grandmother for Cmas every year (20 cards...she has a million
grands and great grands. ). I also used a lot of stash on my
niece's album this last time.
I STILL have WAY too many. :-P
